Cinematographer Phil Meheaux cited The Ipcress File as an inspiration for the shooting of this scene. I thoroughly approve!

    Seconded! Talk about that later?

I remember the time, where I was nervous for weeks until the premiere of a new Bond Movie!

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Black and white is a good choice for this PTS. Dryden's rubbery face is rather like Mr Bean's/Small Fawcett's!
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Weeks... Those were the good times.

Malcolm Sinclair is great as Dryden. Charming man in real life too.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

    That is the only Daniel Craig gunbarrel of which I wholeheartedly approve! -{

David Arnold and conductor Nic Dodds were surprised and delighted to find that the lead trumpeter Derek Watkins had played the same role in all the prior Eon Bond films. He got a special credit on the album sleeve. Watkins died in 2013, his last Bond film being SF.

Ooh I love this song! Last decent theme we have had for Bond too.

Some touches of homage to the 67 CR credits sequence.

No, Sir Miles, we won't play CR67 in that line!

And both have a PTS featuring Bond in a toilet- coincidence? I think we should be told!

You Know My Name was a theme song that required some time to grow on me. But it has become my favourite theme song of the 21st century Bond films.

Mads Mikkelsen - amazing 2nd choice.

First choice for Le Chiffre was Ulrich Matthes
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.

The first few minutes really let the viewer know what sort of Bond Craig’s is going to be. We’ve got brutal fist fights, cold killing and some great lines l.

Mr White as a chilling puppet master as opposed to the soapified Dad with a conscience that SP turned him into.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

This gave me a special thrill when I saw it on the cinema screen in 2006.

Mads is a top class villain

I recently came to the conclusion that Mikkelsen's Le Chiffre is probably my favourite villain in the film series.

This Carter bloke sounds like his accent is vaguely South African.

Bond may be a new Double O but he makes no rookie mistakes... unlike Carter. Probably all that SAS training and experience.

Back in 2006 as I was waiting for Casino Royale to start I was standing in a long line outside a cinema in Bedford guzzling a large Coke. Unfortunately within 10 minutes of the film starting my bladder was screaming at me. Somehow I managed to last throughout the entire film without leaving the cinema to go for a pee.

It's the simplest thing... to cause more pain than a man can possibly endure.

Mads Michelson is wonderful as LeChiffre. Subtle and understated in his behaviour, because his appearance carries his menace, like Dr No and Oddjob.
