    I always saw this simple act as just an homage to LIVE & LET DIE - that film's top hat "belonging to a small-headed man of limited means who lost a fight with a chicken".

    I remember thinking it was a shame he didn't toss his chauffeur's cap in Skyfall, but you're right; the top hat would've been fun.

    It would have been really ballsy to have done it right at the end of that massive one-shot sequence. No pressure, Daniel! :D
