The Man With the Golden Gun seems to be a variation of Live and Let Die with formulaic water and road chase scenes, and the "continuity" with the sheriff from Louisiana and the usual girl working for an evil boss.
It's noteworthy that David Heddison as Felix the name Nelson from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (that belonged to Richard Basehart) as a code name.
