Hi!
I have the cotton/linen giubbino jacket - and I´m thinking about washing it. The instructions on the jacket itself, it says 30 degrees gentle cycle but the website says dry clean only. I asked the people at Connolly and they confirm that dry clean is the way to go.
My question however is if anyone of you have washed it at home? I´m gonna go with dry clean, but I´m just curious if anyone has done it at home. Like if I did a cold wash on a gentle cycle, what could really happen?

Hi - I've only dry cleaned mine and it was all good. For the price, I would risk washing it at home :)
I have washed in on the gentle cycle and it came out OK. I think the temperature was 20 degrees Celsius.
I gave it a try because I have two other pure linen jackets that I washed the same way (more than once) and they are perfectly fine. I used a liquid detergent and was advised to avoid using a softener.
