It’s from a much more recent collection. The collar isn’t right, nor is the placket and hem. The CR one also doesn’t have any branding on the exterior, they started that a few years later. It’s similar in passing, but not the CR one.

It’s not the label. It’s the branded stitching. That’s not possible to remove without causing damage. It’s also a line that wasn’t around then.

Exactly. That literally is all that matters. It could be the case that the original polo never made it to market and was a season preview piece that got dropped from production. They had many brands showing previews of forthcoming collections. The navy blue, white and burgundy swimming trunks were one of those. They were pre-season samples that got chosen, but the company never released them in the end. Which was a really dumb move considering how the La Perlas sold.
Absolutely. That is always the most important thing and in any case Orlebar Brown and N Peal do alright with 'inspired by' pieces. In that respect your top is in that spirit and as close as their offerings so just enjoy wearing it.
Agree @Asp9mm It's an elusive item that probably never made it into production. I imagine they would sell a fair few if they re-issued now but guess they would need Eon's say so and pay a huge amount for the privilege.
Yeah it would of been perfect if it was in the blue colour, but still very happy with the find 😊👍
