I've read speculation that the chukka boots Daniel Craig wears in Casino Royale were the discontinued John Lobb Romsey. Was this ever confirmed? Has anyone ever seen the screen-worn boots to know what color they were? Many thanks!

I believe this was published information at the time of Casino Royale. They were in black leather. They are visible in a couple scenes and photos. He wears them with the three-piece suit at the end of the film and with the topcoat, polo and checked trousers when he breaks into M's flat.
Thanks, Matt. I was actually thinking of the chukkas he wears with the linen suit in the precredit sequence (which I suspect are the same boots he wears in the Bahama return scene). But this is great information in itself!
They are just cheap Loakes if I remember rightly!
The chukkas in the pre-title flashbacks were the Loake Trapper.
