Is you were a castaway on a deserted island what would you bring? You can have:

  • One James Bond soundtrack
  • One Ian Fleming novel
  • One continuation novel
  • One luxury item (not of real practical value)

What would you chose? These are my choices:

  • TSWLM for a spectacular and upbeat movie.
  • The TLD soundtrack
  • The OHMSS novel
  • Colonel Sun
  • A coke Zero dispencer machine (there is water on the island, so it's not really practical)

    • Dr No, my favorite James Bond film. Sophisticated, elegant and simple.
    • Dr No the sound track (Underneath the mango tree, Three blind mice (Kingston Calypso) and Jump up! ). Wonderful upbeat music.
    • Live and Let Die novel. A tale of survival against all odds.
    • Colonel Sun... a very praiseworthy effort by Sir Kingsley Amis.
    • Questar Telescope.

    • One James Bond soundtrack, YOLT, a travelogue for the ears.
    • One Ian Fleming novel, OHMSS, page for page the most action in the series, would’ve chosen this for the movie but wanted to avoid redundancy.
    • One continuation novel. The Authorized Biography of 007 or Christopher Wood’s novelization of TSWLM.
    • One luxury item (not of real practical value)-Either the first 1/43rd scale Corgi GF DB5 or the DN Connery figure by Big Chief Studios (I have two!)
