Back in 1969, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and Carry on Camping we’re both being filmed at Pinewood Studios.

Either there were some fans looking for that frugal Bond look back then or the Costume Designer for one of the films took inspiration from the other. Or maybe it was the same Costume Designer? 🤔 (I will go and research that now…)

    Update - They had different Costume Designers.

    Suddenly I’m not so keen on sourcing that frugal Sid James look… 😬

    Filming of OHMSS took place after the Carry On film…

    So it would appear that Bond’s iconic look did take some inspiration from Sid James! 😳😬😳

    Wow that is a great find Uncle27!

    And to just think, 37 years later we had a Bond that actually looked like Sid James!
