The dullest snow mobile chase is in BEAR ISLAND

Personally, despite its silliness and the presence of Q, I rather like all the hijinks in the Alps. They do have a Bondian flavour.

I agree…Sam Smith’s song is terrible - probably the worst title song, regardless of the Oscar win 🙉

I’m not a fan of Radiohead either…but I think their song for SPECTRE would be in the top 5 Bond songs for me 🤔

Nothing groundbreaking here but if we were stuck with the return to London maybe it would have been a bit more entertaining if Hinx showed back up by the river (in a neck brace ala Telly Savalas as Blofeld in OHMSS) for a rematch with Bond.

I've been chatting about this elsewhere and it was suggested that there's plenty of motivation for Bond in Blofeld having been behind M and Vesper's deaths, so we don't need Oberhauser Sr in there too, especially as the audience have never seen him and Bond seems not to care!

So I'm thinking beef up the connection to M's death and make Spectre a full sequel to Skyfall. Especially as the villains' plan in both are so easy to link up: both of them are driving towards destroying MI6 and replacing it with Blofeld's nefarious scheme. So I think you dial up Bond's curiosity as to why M had him investigating Sciara: he seduces Luciana, then at her place he discovers that her husband had been meeting with Silva regularly. He finds out that the shadowy organisation had been sponsoring and grooming Silva to pursue his vendetta and humiliate MI6 and M, and Bond begins to suspect it's all part of a grander scheme to destroy MI6 by eroding its reputation so that something else can take its place (and ideally you have Helen McCrory back as C to join the two together as she was so keen to take M down in the last film). Bond of course is mainly consumed with how that scheme ended up killing M... and then later he discovers Le Chiffre was one of Blofeld's too...

So yeah, the foster brother stuff is a nice attempt to add some Fleming but actually gets in the way of the story, so ditch it- there's enough motivation in there already.
