Was just wondering if anyone knows,

For example.....from Russia with love.....how do they put the music on to the film ?

Is there a separate track for the music on the original film that's stored in the can ....probably mono ?

Can this be separated at the original source to extract the soundtrack in at least mono ?

Just a,thought.

Does anyone know this and can someone fix the spelling typo on the thread name?

"This is where we leave you Mr Bond."

I’m told the audio track (including music) is recorded and then added to the edge of the film strip and is read by a light source during projection…you can do pretty much anything with audio nowadays… you’d only need a computer and a certain program to strip the music out…
