The UNIVEX EU6538 WATCH

Hello everyone,
Recently, I received the UNIVEX UE6538 ‘Master Mariner’ pre-release to review. This is a homage to the one we see worn by our favorite gentleman spy offered by our very own 'DonaldGrant'
It was quite the privilege to see this ’In the flesh’ as I had only seen it in progress photos.
Not only is the watch representative of the one we see in the film but it is an amazing timepiece built like a tank!
The care in research and quality of assembly shows the thorough care put forth with every regard to detail.
I was thrilled at the presentation as well which was equally well-thought out and compliments the watch.
It comes well packaged with a branded slipcase over the box and is securely nestled on a pillowed brace, it comes with the traditional 18mm Bond RAF strap as well as a secondary 20mm Crocodile strap.
A point of interest here is that while the spacing between the lugs of the watch are 20mm, the RAF watchband is made to match the 18mm as seen in the film. It shows a true fan’s attention to detail.
Included is a metal cloisonne ‘Challenge coin’ with the company logo on the front and the phrase ‘Tempus Fugit’ on the rear which is a Latin phrase that translates to "time flies" in English. It serves as a reminder that time is fleeting and passes quickly, emphasizing the idea that time is a precious and limited resource that should be valued and used wisely.
A glossy 5x7 card with an interpreted image based on Ian Fleming’s description of the British spy with the license to kill is a nice touch and nicely compliments the package.
A property of receipt, as might possibly be issued by a Quartermaster, lists all the specifications of the watch (which I’ll list below) and properly rounds off the presentation.
A holographic sticker on the obverse of the watch featuring the company logo is a nice touch as well.
I could go and on but I’ll let the photo ‘speak for themselves’.
I’m just proud to have this exquisite timepiece added to my Bond collection.
The second round just went up for sale on November 30 and most sold within less than 48 hours, so if you are also interested in adding one to your collection, there are a few left.

Beautiful watch! It's so much more tasteful than most dive watches made today.
Matt,
Thanks so much! That means a great deal to me coming from you. Happy New Year!
