M and Kingsman

I realise they are two totally different roles played by the brilliant Ralph Fiennes but could Fiennes M Character Gareth Mallory be his Kings Man in all but name, I've not seen the Kings Man yet but would love to eventually.

    Or unless The Kings Man is another member of the Mallory Family? You know like Gareth Mallory's Grandfather or someone like that?
