I have the orange one which I like a lot and really pops; it's vaguely Ultraman-inspired which is a lot of fun, and they've even added a bit of fake aged lume which does look pretty cool on it. I went for one of their upgraded straps and it makes it much nicer to wear.

I know for a 100% fact that they’ve developed the Seamaster Swatch too. So maybe they’ll release a series Bond inspired versions this year for the anniversary. As a marketing tool and grabbing the attention of a younger audience, it would seem crazy not to.
The first Light watch is a chrono version of the Secret Service watch they made for the US Secret Service. The orange tints are just light effects. It’s a plain matte dial and bezel with white Seamaster lettering, blacked hands as you suggested and fully brushed case. Not sure whether they’ll release that. But I’m betting they will.

Coloured versions of the Seamaster would be fun. I'd actually kind of forgotten my Moonswatch until this thread, it's a fun summery colour so I'll dig it out now the weather's nice.
I do like those Special Unit SMs, nicely understated colour scheme.
That's very nice, the smaller size really suits it.
I was researching the Tudor Submariner yesterday and came across this article; it's always funny to me how watch folk are always looking for the Bond link! Interesting piece though, good info about the Disco Volante, plus the watch is gorgeous.
If you haven't seen it, here's something entertainingly awful- an iPhone case made from titanium with a NTTD Seamaster stuck in the back of it in a horrid new case.
The website is covered in Bond pics and videos, despite this not appearing to be licensed at all, and one of the seven to be made can be yours for a mere $49,000
What is Craig wearing in this vid? An Omega of course I guess, but it looks like a cool sort of retro military style one with a cushion case- I don’t recognise it. There’s a good view about 4m45 in.
Asp, I would love that moonswatch, but doesn't the swatch ticking loudly keep you up at night? In the 1980s I had to lie my swatch outside my room for its loud ticking.
One thing I'd like to know more about is the the gadget watch we see in the new series of 007 Road To A Million: it's a NTTD Omega with a bespoke bezel that features a 7 (from the 007 logo) at the 10 position, and when the bezel is turned the indices at 12, 3, 6 & 9 (plus the broad arrow) all light up and flash. It seems to be done for real as the contestants are reacting to it, plus the illumination is too real-looking for it to be CG (as I believe the similar Spectre watch effect was).
It's a really neat gadget build, not least because they seem to be wearing the watch in one shot of it (so it looks to be self-contained within the case) and the seconds hand is still sweeping. Maybe there's some editing going on, it's hard to say, but if not I'd love to know how they managed to fit it all into the case- there's not usually much spare room in there for electronics! Plus the light-up indices appear to match the colour of the normal ones pretty much perfectly.
Excuse the naff photo:
The crystal looks pretty knackered for some reason!
Seiko Chronograph with White Dial, wish it would be the AVTAK one though

Finally my order came through. Rolex are back to making a proper tool watch again. Pity they decided to put the date function on it. The prototype looked much neater without it.

Seems like it's PVD too to me rather than brushed (especially in the shot of it sticking to the plane bulkhead), but it's hard to be certain because it's not real of course!
The one on the plane is a different watch to this: PVD, all black dial, orange stripe running around the right side of the bezel insert and grey silicone strap. Used before he gets the one above.
Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.
Yeah it does seem different, it's hard to tell. You're definitely right about the strap, but there's something funny going on with that one: the indices have disappeared for some reason for one thing. It's so close in design to the main chrono that I'm not sure it's a different watch: notice the orange and red on the bezel seems to be reflecting on the pushers too.

And here’s a watch to get back on topic.
Blown away by those costumes🤯 What a collection!! I'm also gutted to have missed that event🙁
Lovely looking watch. Have yet to purchase a MoonSwatch, but it will only be a matter of time. Possibly a Blancpain Swatch as well at some point.
There’s another next year for Jason’s 40th. Check out Herne’s Arrow Events in FB.
The Ocean of Storms looks great.
Will do. Thank you for the heads up.
Yes. That's the one I'm considering.

Plenty of Bond alumni there.

Bugger…that watch does look good…and there is a store not far from me 👀
😁

So it's confirmed that the First Light watch has black sword hands? Cheers @Asp9mm and good call @emtiem.
Yea…the missus says ‘hi’ 🫣
Well…not exactly those words 🤭
I have been wearing the Orient Bambino for the past ten years. I purchased it in 2015 for $150.
Very glad to hear that Orient have now come out with a smaller (38.4 mm diameter) version of the watch with a new movement.
Version 7, priced at $225.
I know what I am getting for Christmas this year.
That's very nice, the smaller size really suits it.

I wasn't sure where to post this Times report on 11 August 2025 re the Rolex founder's alleged links to the Nazis but I thought this would do.
Roger Moore 1927-2017

Edit: Okay, I think it's a late 60s/early 70s Seamaster 120, very cool.

Q-Timex Falcon Eye 38 mm.
I owned the green version of the watch, but later gifted it.
Very elegant watch with a deep emerald green face.
Quartz, stainless steel and a hair puller, but very beautiful to look at.
Can be purchased for $160-200.
That's a nice-looking watch.

Looks like you're wrong there, the orange bits are definitely graphics on the dial and not light effects by the looks of this:
