I've seen some in peoples collections...are they just 'close enoughs' or does someone actually make them?
Also..any help on finding the knife/belt would be great too!

Thanks for the links!!
There was a collector that posts on this board that had one made but I am afraid it was a one off...if anyone gets industrious enough to do one I will be right behind you...uh, in ordering one as well.

Not quite; it was a Navy belt. White is standard issue (or was in '50s/'60s; no idea if they're used today).
That man is 100% right. And you should still find them as they are still issued in a slightly updated form. Vintage ones are also still easily obtainable.
why do i hear the phrase "belt up" ?...:))
If you are referring to 'bootnecks' Paul, I'd have to concur :v
Does anyone have some nice closeups of the knife?
Rachel
I definately concur with THAT!!

still looking..:s
A tailor made the bikini. The belt I bought in a local army dump and the knife I made myself.
i'm glad i restarted this thread (albeit, tongue in cheek)...
Kleynen, loved ur pics first time round...would you consider helping a bunch of us (especially rachel, who has kindly offered to model for us ;% ) get some more of these made..I for one would be keen, and not too fussed on cost...i'd suspect another 6-7 would join in...we'd be forever in your debt...
best rgds Paul
I 'll ask if I can have his 'blueprints' and then look for another tailor who is willing to make a batch.
Making a bikini looks simple, but it's not! I already asked many tailors around the world (Belgium, Singapore, Thailand).
Speaking about the cost: I paid 200 euros for it (without belt and knife). Not cheap, but I 'm very pleased with the result.
BTW, what is it made of?
The color is not real white, but slightly white-brown-yellow.
The real size of Ursula was used for this replica. I looked it up on the internet.
And for the rest I based the design on pictures.
Judging by the type of buckle, I think you'll find that this belt is a little too lightweight.
Yep, those are the pics I saw, and i would definitely be very very interested in getting a replica!!! (what size is yours made in?)
Ursula had a 36-24-36 frame.
