Which S&W pistol is closest to ASP custom?

I am refering, of course, to any 9mm pistol that the ASP may have inspired, if not indirectly. I have seen the stainless "Smith" model 669, but nothing as covert-worthy as the original black teflon ASP.
Also, has there ever been an ASP replica, pellet or airsoft version? Since joining here I've become very keen on 007 sidearms other than the PPK.

Well, ASP is a beautiful piece. If you really like to convert something close to the ASP, I do have an additional guttersnipe sight for sale - my spare, brand new unused with instruction papers.By itself a very collectible piece. Just PM me. Have a good day,

Closest S&W Pistol to the original ASP is the Model 3913.

There is a pretty nice web page on the ASP, just do a search on ASP 2000.

The web page has alot of information on Paris Theodore who remanfuactured the originals from the original S&W Model 39.

The first production gun which the ASP inspired was the S&W 469 which was in a black finish with thin delrin grips and a double stack mag. In my opinion the best and most underrated small combat auto based on the ASP is the S&W 3913. Bloody marvellous little gun.

The ASP 2000 does come very close indeed.Still,I'm not certain if a "de-horned" 469 with a Guttersnipe sight,might be a better choice.A decent replica could display just as nicely.
