If that suit doesn't fit you and can't be tailored to your liking, let me know!

Forgot to post an update for this. Can’t express how disappointed I was with the transaction and the final product. Worst communication I’ve ever had from a seller, ended up taking two weeks to post the suit, caught him in multiple lies during that two weeks about the suit’s postal status and worst of all, about a month after payment when I finally got the suit, it ended up being a 52US/62IT, not 52IT as I was told. And don’t worry, I did ask for measurements from the seller before I ordered...measurements received were 22” pit-to-pit and 26” sleeves—so for a jacket that turned out to be a 62IT/52US, that was definitely not accurate. Anyway, suit’s been returned and a refund has been recived for it—still waiting for the promised return postage refund though, but the seller has once again has not replied since the “paying it now” message on the 9th.

Man, that is the worst. And the suit wasn’t cheap. I hope you get your refund quickly without additional problems. Thanks for posting this here. It’s a sad but necessary reminder.

    I had a similar experience on eBay with a seller claiming his 44/54 suit was a 38/48. I wasn’t interested in purchasing it, but he turned very abusive when I pointed out that he had taken photos of the actual suit with a size 54 tag. He then got rid of that photo, changed the listing to call it a size 40, but luckily it was pulled once I reported it to eBay. These blatant experiences make you sigh - or swear - but also reminds you how lucky we are collectively that AJB’ers look out for each other -{

I did the same thing, it was the Tuxedo right. He then started insulting my intelligence and said he was going to open a claim on ebay about how threatening I was...

Dear God is right! Don't get me wrong i have no problem with someone trying to make a profit but that price is 10 times the retail price. I bought 2 pairs last year and i thought paying just over $600 for each was too high but compared to 4k they were a steal!

They looked ok on him when he was in Haiti but they looked terrible on him in Bolivia.

Since TF was copying the OP Airman, I wonder if the prototypes used in filming were slightly different sizes?

The film ones are Def different to the 108's
Maybe they were OP's??? Then TF just issued the LE branded TF's

Ive always thought they look "smaller" on DCs face, and he hasnt a big head or anything going on....

I don't think they're the OP's as they have a shinier frame than the 108's. Maybe it's just me but when I ses Daniel Craig wearing most Tom Ford sunglasses they seem so small on his face! It could also be the that he has a huge head and big ears :))

I've always thought that they made his eyes look too close together, but I thought it was just me! They look small on me, too, so I've never owned a pair.

Have to admit my 108's are my go to pair of glasses recently since renewing my love for QOS and I spread the load with the 207's (less leather to wear out and only a nose bridge of difference).

From time to time you see a deliberate money grabber seeking to maximise on a profit, but - 4K for a pair of TF shades ARE YOU FCUKING SERIOUS! Exactly the question I would ask the seller :D Got to admire their balls for trying but as ever something is only ever worth what someone else is willing to pay.

I am watching them though out of curiosity to see if anyone bites the bullet (at that price may as well blow their head off its cheaper!)

    Cheers :007)

Normally i wear my Wayfarers but for the last week i've worn the 108's. If you're worried about premature wear you could apply a little bit of Saphir Renovator to keep the leather from drying out.

I'm watching them as well just to see if anyone has more money than sense :)) I wouldn't be surprised if they end up being on eBay for MONTHS but i think he must be on drugs if he thinks someone will pay that price!

Craig does have a really wide face so that's probably why they look smaller.

Not my auction and not Bond related, but it is a Bond brand and Film/TV related:

Listed as the Billy Reid Duster Jacket, but I believe it's the Billy Reid Walking Coat, size small, as worn by The Governor on season 3 of the Walking Dead.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Billy-Reid-Duster-Jacket/142846634030?

The main picture is horribly over exposed, but the details match my size large Walking Coat as is the grey-blue color described, and the close up picture of the tag and linen lining is spot on to mine.

Pictures of my jacket to compare are here:

Great price! Would love to get Rick Grime's now iconic UGGs Belfast jacket. Like many Bond jackets originals are near impossible to find and are absurdly expensive but atleast there's plenty of quality replicas available.

Not Ebay (and not mine) but a Goldeneye Quartz SMP at a nice price from a very reputable seller.

I'll chime in here because I purchased a 2531.80 from this seller - the seller had it serviced just prior to sale but it wasn't a very good job. At least according to my watchmaker (who is consistently ranked as the best watchmaker in Chicago) - he handed me back a lot of parts after he serviced it. It was supposed to be just a pressure/water check initially that turned into a service. This was actually the watch I had totally overhauled by Omega a few weeks ago.

That said, it shouldn't be as big a concern for the quartz.

    That's a shame - I had a very positive experience with him (a 2220.80.00).

Meh. Half went to charity and I was planning the total overhaul anyway. Wasn't a big deal. And it was as described; worked, was serviced (albeit sloppily), accurate pictures. My only warning would be to plan to pay for a servicing. And, again, not nearly as big a deal on a quartz movement.

Original Tom Ford Sunglasses that seem to go for thousands on Ebay. I doubt he'll send to Canada, but maybe someone here would like them. Enjoy,
