Well I thing the colours are to point out the drug types and the drugs themselves aren't red or blue. The syringe inside these things is a lot thinner than the body of the epipen.

What's a combi-pen? Erm, it's a medical kind of mcguffin.

Maybe the blue pen is a combination if drug to counteract poisons and the red one has a premixed vesper in it for when times get really bad?

Thinking ahead a bit and found a data cable for my dummy K800i for three bucks shipped, now for the "data syringe" with correct base and syringe cap. If I can come across all the getable parts of the Resus/Defib kit as possible and then start thinking about the custom stuff,unit, paddles and "data syringe" 

The eventual plan is to find someone who can draw up the custom stuff, 3D print them and then sell them, all I want is a free one for the idea. Its a plan that his bitten me on the arse in the past but has also produced some very nice results.

I think I will go with the Blue being Amiodarone and the Red being Atropine, or at least that is what I'm going to mark mine up as, until such time someone can come up with a better idea, backed up with logic or a definitive screen shot showing the text.

Yes but if you look at a really good screen grab there is black lettering on the coloured portion of each pen and in the real world all drugs would be marked with name, %, suspension etc. eg Amiodarone is normally in a suspension of dextrose, even in SIS Q Branch would not be immune to the workings of NICE.

I was also looking outside the box, we know that in this case it was to negate the effects of Digitalis but would both pens be for the same thing? I think they would be looking at a broad range of conditions.

I remember talking to FE about this last summer. Maybe they've had some hands on time with the prop?

A small item but important to the overall project is the more traditional style syringe used on the "data transmitter". Im assuming its a hypodermic needle and have found what looks like a standard size chart, will get some down time at work to do a little looking around. Of course the end result would see the cap epoxy glued to the end.

Im warming to the possibility of just putting a static replica together of the main unit, no paddles, wires or electronics,
just a highly detailed one piece unit, would make things considerably cheaper and easier. Ive got a really nice, small black slimline Haliburton that was for another project but this kit would look very cool with custom cut foam inserts in that case.

Got excited when I found this battery powered solder, looked like the perfect substitute for the hero but went back to the movie to get a better idea and ended up getting a couple of better pics of the hero and its very different. Payed off though as it confirms the syringe used, third from the right on the chart below, before the cap comes off that is, its replaced with a thicker dummy needle for the injection close up, there is a small hook like attatchment at the top to help insert the needle I would guess and a small button at the back, all very handy info.

Any luck with a source for the correct trainer Gadget Meister?  Every place I contact only have the incorrect one, despite the web pictures showing the correct one, frustrating indeed.

In the meantime, ive started looking at modifying the incorrect one, its a bit of a nightmare under that instruction label
but think its very possible, will post pics once it gets started.
