    Must admit I'm fearing the worst for people like me who require XL etc

    I see the funny side and agree with poster above - they are genuine Zara Youth sizing :D

    Mantis, can you post the measurements of the medium and large for comparison? In inches if you can.

    Hats off to Hart for nailing the accuracy of the shirt first go - a lot of these projects need two or three runs to get it that accurate. I'm sure we all share his frustration at the sizing issue, right at what seemed like the finish line. We've all been there.

    The best outcome at this point would be that there is a proportionate amount of larger sizes so that at least the people who need smalls and mediums will be accommodated this summer. I think we're all keen to hear from Hart so a) we know what's going on and b)that he's hanging in there and isn't having nightmares about that fabric pattern...

    Obviously very disappointing news after hanging in there and waiting for over 11 months. It will be nearly impossible to satisfy everyone who has been waiting for so long. It would be great to hear from Hart on the progress made with manufacturers and next steps.

    I think if the news is good or bad, now would be a good time for an update... -{

    Hart's been in the hospital today helping to give birth to his first child....he sent me a pic of his wife etc....

    I wished him all the best with the blessed event and stressed the importance of giving everyone an update....

    Just as I typed the above the doorbell rang and a new shirt arrived! And low and behold, fits perfectly...of course it is marked as an XL so "fits perfectly is subjective"...now we wait on Hart to reply, but suffice it to say this manufacturer CAN make the correct sizes, just needs to re-mark and reconsider sizing aspects....

    Now that's more like it!
    Hart should hire you to take over his PR and Distribution, at least in the U.S. and Canada. :)
    P.S. I'll still take one but will wait for the sizing issues to be resolved.

    Is it too late to get in on one of these shirts? I'd like to get one in a size large once the sizing issues are resolved.

    @ Hart: Congratulations and all the best for you and your growing family.

    @ David: Please can you post the actual back length of your XL shirt to check how it has changed in length?
    For example, I'm a 40" chest, but since I'm as tall as one of the "old Bonds" I had ordered a size XL.
    After all, I'm thinking that an XL fits me perfectly, just that the shirt requires no alterations now.

    Maybe a size chart of all the actual shirt sizes could be helpful for everyone. Thus everybody could assess if the ordered shirt fits or evaluate which of the new sizes could be fits.

    Mantis, I think you were bang on the money when you said these are two sizes too small (or the labels were mixed up, or whatever occurred). I think you may even need a xxl to get the fit from the movie, his was on the looser side, unlike almost everything else he wore in that film...

    Nope...tried an XXL on....too big...this may look fitted but its spot on to movie fit...2 sizes up should do everyone well...

    Hey guys so sorry for the late updates , Dave a personal thank u for keeping everyone updated. Guys the sizes i will meet with the manufacturers this weekend as u all know im still in hospital due to birth of my FOURTH child hehe growing family indeed .
    Ill get the sizes issue resolved this weekend and update you. At the moment there are a lot of L sizes which means the guys that ordered s are squared. Also afew xl sizes meaning the M dudes are also squared ill do the final count when i get back home and update you guys all by end of this week when i have counted and met the manufacturers ok. This is a great result (the shirt i mean its great material and fit and feel im sure) just need to fix the sizing. Sorry guys Best regards to all!

    Congratulations buddy on your newborn and the shirt looks amazing !
    If all 4 of your kids get into 007 this will cost u a fortune :))
    Any how on David's advice , even though I ordered a large based on the sizing chart , I'm certainly not a xxl as David says it's too big and his XL fits perfectly but I'm not as well built as him so interested to see what the outcome will be , so guessing I'm still large .
    Obviously confused as all my shirts are medium I will trust your judgment

    Won't the lengths on an xl be too long for a typical medium? For instance as a M my sleeves are typically 32/33. Also length of torso.
  • The Bond ExperienceThe Bond Experience Newtown, PAPosts: 5,490Quartermasters
    the sleeves on the XL are the perfect length for me...33 inch shirt sleeve on my dress shirts...but then, it should be rolled up, eh? That being said the torso may be a wee bit long....but only a wee...
  • aydinmoaydinmo Posts: 3MI6 Agent
    You're a legend for doing this. I have been following this thread from the start.

    If you can fix the size issue, I'll buy two in size medium.
  • waugerwauger Glastonbury, CTPosts: 62MI6 Agent
    Based on Mantis' fit, looks like an XL for me as well (was originally a M).

    Congrats on the newest edition to the family!

    That being the case, I'm a stick on for a XL to cover my request for a Medium

    So are saying if your a true medium and not going by what you ordered off the size chart
    In my case a L ? you should go for a XL

    That's correct...sorry it's so complex...I know Hart is working on trading these shirts out...but if you are a medium I would go for an XL.....so to be clear:

    S= L
    M= XL
    L= XXL
    XL= XXXL
