    It has:
    A) A shadowy introduction of the new James Bond,
    B) James Bond saving the girl,
    C) A great fight scene on the beach, between James Bond and two thugs,
    D) One of the greatest OO7 title tracks of all time, and
    E) The only title sequence that includes scenes from other Bond films.

    Agrees :007)

quoting Rouge Agent: OHMSS- You just can't usher in another Bond more smoothly than that. "This never happened to the other fella..." Then Lazenby runs into the title score like that...A+!

:)):)) Yeah right, that was abotu as smooth as Egyptian whiskey!!!

I loved the FYEO sequence, apart fro mthe bad back projection whe nRoger is climbing out of the helicopter. Also, the "stainless steel" thing still annoys me.

JFF is right, were it nto for the California Girls and soem very obvious model helicopters, that would have been a classic scene. i did think that the iceberg submursible was a bit too obvious when it starting speedign away at top speed though. :(

TLD is another one, with one of the finest title sequences too. The MR parachute thing I could watch until doomsday and stil love. I also love the OP jetstar scene, it had humour, style, a bit of farce, and brilliant action!

TWINE was damn good but was I the only person who felt it was far too long? I would have put the titles between the end of the Bilboa scene and before we arrive in MI6. Keep it exactly the same apart from that.

My favourite has to be GoldenEye, not only is it highly dramatic, the action is imaginative and that bungee thing is superb.

Numero Uno is Goldfinger. It's basically a mini-summary of the whole James Bond character, even with its trace of excess: the duck and the tux beneath the wetsuit.
Tied for Second Place are Casino Royale, clever introduction of new Bond earning his stripes; The Living Daylights, very exciting, with its nice introduction of Dalton as Bond; and
From Russia With Love, although characters who turn out to be someone else in a perfectly real-looking mask should probably be banned from movies. It was tolerable in this case because no one in the film was supposed to be fooled by it, only the audience.
