How can you say that AVTAK and NSNA are bad? They are stupendous Bond movies! NSNA, I think is better than the original Thunderball, the Largo was better, the femme fatale was better... AVTAK is definetly underappreciated and people are out to get poor Stacey Sutton. LEAVE HER ALONE!
Stacey Sutton, the beautiful state geologist of California is hated by a lot of people except for me. Don't get me wrong, I won't say she's the best Bond girl but maybe I'll clear up her behavior that most people find annoying. Stacey Sutton hates Zorin for robbing her of her family's oil company, she defiantly tears up the cheque for 5,000,000 dollars because she didn't want to give up fighting him. Would you do this? Tear up a 5,000,000 dollar cheque just to save a small oil company? I probably wouldn't. She sold everything in her house to keep up a fight which she probably knew she couldn't win (perserverance, optimism, and determination). Her house is nice and her room says it all, she was no doubt spoiled as a child. Why do you think she acts the way she does? She is NOT a computer programmer who's led nothing but a rough life in Soviet Russia (Natalya), a glamourous stunt pilot with nerves of steel (Pussy), or the daughter of a crime boss who's husband was murdered (Tracy). No, Stacey is the spoiled daughter of an oil baron who probably never had to fend for herself in her childhood and she's just an all-American woman working at a job that never involved being trapped on a burning elevator shaft or hanging from the top of the Golden Gate Bridge! She acts like this because of her upbringing. Tanya Roberts isn't the best actress in the world but she delivers Sutton's lines adequately. No one else thinks so and people complain about this especially in the scene in the mine but I interpret it as her not being able to fathom how ludicrous Zorin's plan is! She stands up to Bond in her house and threatens him with a shotgun (loaded with rock salt but did she think she'd ever have to use it?) and rejects him at the Chateau party. So once you really think about it, is Stacey really that bad? And what would you do if you were hanging from the top of the Golden Gate Bridge or trapped in a burning elevator shaft? I wouldn't be as calm as she was! She's not that bad when you think about it!
1. From Russia With Love- This is the one that will always have my heart. It is the standard for Bond films, as far as I'm concerned. The theme song haunts my dreams.

3. You Only Live Twice- This is another one that just grabbed me. It will always have a special place in my heart. That light melody in the score is enchanting.
