The Austria locations are getting closer to being 'locked in,' with extras being cast there as well as in Panama...

...Plus bits about a short driving sequence there, which would be in addition to the rumoured chase featuring the DBS in Tuscany...perhaps Bond will do a bit of motoring across the continent... B-)

Late pre-prod of a Bond film is always a fun time for me...the anticipation...

It's like the opening day of baseball season, where every team is still a potential pennant winner---and an as-yet unfilmed movie holds boundless promise.. :007)

    Skis ... snowboards ... I don't care. So long as it isn't a cello.

Well, surely they're going to do something with that landscape...'no skiing' is still the unofficial line from Craig (for what that's worth)...but why go there if they're not going to 'use it'?

My fondest, dearest hope: mountain-climbing...and the reappearance of the long-missing Hannes Oberhauser B-)

    Austria is official:

Bregenz will be playing itself in the film...and they're casting 1,200 to 1,500 extras to play the audience at the floating opera stage...shooting scheduled there for 28 April thru 10 May...also a minor scene in the small town of Feldkirch :)

Here again, Bond's erstwhile (and missing for years!) mentor, Hannes Oberhauser---who instructed Bond in both skiing and climbing, according to Eon's most current Bond dossier---might very well come into play.

It might interest you to know that Hannes Oberhauser will appear in Young Bond 5.

TeeHee, how is a snowboard at all grittier than skiing?

Skiing is more stylish and flexible (i.e. you can up as well as down).

    As for elegant:

I'm hoping for a snowscooter/ski race down a mountainside. Both modes of transport have never been done justice in a movie!
