I'm not convinced by the new rules. Three votes to be saved is ok, but casting two votes is not enough. One round is going to last more than two days, which is unnecessarily long. And the consequence is that one guy can still protect one song until we've reached Top 15. We are 11 voters each day. When there are 16 songs left, in 2 days 10 voters can cast 40 votes (42 if we add the 2 votes used by the guy who protects one song for other songs). 3x15=45 votes are needed to save every other song than the protected one. We need a third voting day, so one guy can cast three votes for one song and save it at will.
I strongly militate for casting three votes in the next round. 8-) {[]

JFF, sorry to insist but it's essential that we cast 3 votes for different songs. It doesn't make sense to allow two votes for the same song, we could protect songs almost as easily as in the direct saving system.

I think the reason for the confusion has been that there isn't really one person in charge. Sweepy started the game but it has become an orphan. Someone (JFF, M722, whoever) needs to take control, determine exactly what rules should be imposed, and explain them clearly. The other games worked well, because while other people might offer suggestions, there was really only one person who was in charge, and he was for all intents and purposes the dictator. A benevolent dictator perhaps, but a dictator nonetheless.
