Where Are You Buying QoS From?

I assume most of you on here will be buying QoS on either dvd or bluray.

Where will be the best place to buy it from?

I do mean which is the cheapest, but also is there anywhere that is offering 'something extra'.

For instance I notice that HMV are selling the film with a "free" 'bond on set' book at £12.99 for the dvd and £17.99 for the bluray versions http://hmv.com/hmvweb/navigate.do?pPageID=4169

To be honest it'll be more like a book-let which is abot 32-pages. I'm not too fussed about travelling all the way to Huddersfield for that! I'd probably just look at the pictures and then never cast my eyes on it ever again (Hey, there isn't much text in those books).

I ordered mine from HMV earlier. Gettin both DVD and Blu Ray. Thats like 31quid for both. Whereas most places is 30 quid just for bluray. ASDA will probly sell it for £& on release like they did with Casino Royale for a double disc dvd.

I could also do without the music video for "Another Way to Die," which is -- without a doubt-- the worst Bond theme of the entire franchise.

I felt really ripped-off with the Casino Royale dvd buying it when it first came out only to have to buy it again to get the directors commentary etc.
So I'll wait until Bond 23 is about to be released and they issue the special edition, even then I might wait untill it makes its way to the bargin bin.

I pre-ordered the two-disc set from Amazon. Supposed to be $30 and change with shipping.

It is supposed to be released in the US on 24MAR.

as I thought on another forum they have reviewed the QOS dvd and it is lacking in many special features, Sony will want another dip into the fans pockets with the really special super-de-duper edition shortly before Bond 23.

I've ordered mine with play.com as they and dvd.co.uk are the cheapest i've found plus they usually manage to get the dvd's out early sometimes you can get the film on the friday before the monday it's released. Which is always good for bragging rights

Well for more reasons than one I will be waiting to purchase the DVD until around Bond 23 and more special features come out.

Probably at my local supermarket in about a years time when it is £5.99 like CR is now. I bought CR on the first day it was released and couldn't wait to watch it. With QOS I'm really not that bothered.

Target also usually dicounts new releases for the first week. I will probably get QoS and NSNA on blu-ray from there. These two movies will be my first blu-ray purchases. I picked up a blu-ray player about a week ago just in anticipation of getting the new film.

I won't be buying QOS on DVD. In fact, in order to pay the bills whilst my wife is pregnant with our second child (and therefore not working) I've had to downsize my James Bond collection, and forgo any new additions until early 2010 (thats when Tanya will return to work).

Recieved mine this morning in the post from Amazon! Very pleased - but shall watch it tomorrow and re-evaluate my opnion of this unconventional 'Bond' film.
