    I think this thread just goes to prove that whenever a new actor takes over the role, they bring something to the table, and you look back at previous Bonds and think, 'we'll they didn't get that right, unlike the new incumbent'. I enjoyed Dalton's tenure but was blown away by Brosnan (whose take on Bond I much prefer)... But now I find it harder to like those films after watching Craig... :s

    He was more enthusiastic in YOLT then in DAF though.

    Sorry, to say this - but I don't rate Goldeneye. there's no emotional development in it. I rate TND above it. That has the Kauffman scene,

    I would have to base it on the films I no longer watch..its roughly a tie between Brosnan and Craig. Brosnan gave a confident performance in Goldeneye but his films tended to be a chore to sit through.. I don't know why but they were all sleep inducing. Craig's first Casino Royale was a Bond movie and felt like one and i could easily see that Bond develop into the others, but QOS(sleep inducing) & Skyfall (bloated and a shell of a movie passing itself off as art & don't get me started on that hd video look the movie had) were massive steps backwards and it was no longer Bond to me. Skyfall had to even to fan service in the middle with the aston martin just to get the audience going. So Brosnan gets it by a hair cuz I don't watch any of his movies anymore. Craig only gets Casino Royale as a consistent watch. So Bond is all the eon pictures thru License to Kill & bonus material of Casino Royale. Wait there a few Connery's and one Dalton I no longer watch. May have to rethink this.

    For me one of the great things now, is that I've read so many
    Comments over the years from all the guys on AJB. That watching
    The films now, I notice things I hadn't before because someone
    Has pointed it out. Not to mention when watching a Dalton Bond
    Thinking of how misty eyed Higgins gets watching them. :)) With
    Every new observation, I have a new reason to watch them again. {[]
