Do you know where I might be able to get hold of a copy of the David Rintoul audiobooks?
A quick spoiler free review of "With a Mind to kill " a good solid story which was to be expected from A Horowitz, he's a very
Dependable writer. The tone of the book fits well with that period of Bond's life. I enjoyed it a lot but as with the Bond films
It will take several readings to see where it fits in my list of continuing Bond adventures. A t the moment I'm re-reading R Benson's
" A high time to Kill " which I'm enjoying this time much more than before.
Lots of interesting comments to read!
So I started my re-read of Ian Fleming/James Bond this summer, after having read them about 30 years ago. So far it's been better the 2nd time, wow these books are good.
☑️ Forever And A Day
☑️ Casino Royale
☑️ Live And Let Die
☑️ Diamonds Are Forever
☑️ From Russia With Love
☑️ Dr No
☑️ Trigger Mortis
... For Your Eyes Only
Currently reading Trigger Mortis for the first time (yeah, I'm a bad literary Bond fan), and I am loving it. I'm more than halfway through and I immediately ordered his other two. Horowitz isn't Fleming, but he's damn good IMO.
Dare I say that Trigger Mortis is just as good as any of the Flemings?
Just in case anyone hasn't a copy of "Forever and a Day" as a deal of the day on Amazon, you can get the kindle version for 99p
