Here’s an interesting titbit :o When the watch is worn loose like that, they use double sided fashion tape designed to keep women’s low cut dresses in place. Applied to the caseback, this keeps the watch case central on the wrist so it doesn’t flop about or slide up and down the wrist. It also keeps the case flush to the wrist and in an ideal position for product placement. It was overused in Brosnans films, so much so, you can see it in one instance. I think TWINE.

They also used this tape on the defibrillator paddles.
Overused because Brosnan has smaller wrists then Craig?

I guess I’m on it or just before. :))

First day wearing the watch. When your driving to work and your watch costs more than your car you know you have an Omega problem. :s ;% or you have your priorities in order?
Dont wait for your ship to come in. Swim out and meet the bloody thing.

    Really interesting :)

Martini, what is that great strap? I have a previous model black Aqua Terra on a bracelet and sometimes think about putting it on a brown strap.

Talking about taping watches to wrists, I was watching Layer Cake last night, and in the bit where the gangsters escape from the armed police by jumping into a boat, you can see that the Rolex on Daniel Craig's wrist has an unfastened clasp when he is pulling Sidney (or future Q) back into the boat. Would've been a shame for it to just slip off and fall into the river!

Yeah its absolutely nuts to think I could make double from what I originally paid! The watch market for sporty Rolex and PP has gone totally bonkers with demand high and supply supposingly reduced!!!

QOS 2500 P.O. today my first ever P.O. and i realised this morning it’s 10th anniversary this year along with my TF108’s man how time flies!

    Both equally timeless!

    Cheers :007)

These two items sums up the cool part DCs tenure for me.

Hope he “goes out” with a PO. 2500 series would be cooler but obviously there in no chance of that! Will be another new watch :#

Ditto they are both my summer go to items along with my sunspel polos, sta prest and suede chukkas - timeless. Now what would be really cool is a PO2500 LM LE and we know he has one of those!

    I know dream on.....

Beautiful sunny day here so went with the second classic pairing this time from SF that of TF144’s and Black P.O. Ti (sorry AT see you more as a more formal watch). The P.O. got far to little wrist time in the film though it is core to a good action scene!

Though strangely never really bonded with the Markos as much as the 108’s they set the bar very high!

    Have a good one all

    Cheers :007)

Not directly Bond related, but a beautiful piece in it's own right. Would be incredible to see Bond in a Patek, although I feel Omega has too strong of a connection to be severed at this point.

Beautiful watch, but not sure Bond and Patek would go well together since he is a well-established tool watch man. Perhaps as part of a disguise it would work.
