Speaking of OMEGAs, I purchased a 1994 Seamaster Diver 200M.
Except it's the wrong size (by 3 mms) and it's a quartz. I'll be reselling it soon. If anyone wants it, hit me up, we might work out a deal.
It's in almost new condition, a one owner watch.

Confession.i am a Rolex guy from way back. My father was a watchmaker of note and would regularly receive watches from all over the world to service/work on. He was a huge advocate of Rolex and I've always been the same. While I've owned well over a dozen over the years I currently have two (including a 1969 "Redletter" Submariner). I've tried other brands and have always been left disappointed...until now.

I purchased my first Omega (SM300 Spectre limited edition) in September and was so impressed that I bought a screen accurate CR Planet Ocean in early October. In short, I LOVE both of these watches. The PO has become my daily wearer almost not leaving my wrist since purchase.

While the Bond/Fleming/Connery/Rolex connection can't be downplayed, the Craig era Omegas are fantastic! I believe and history has shown that Rolex will almost always retain their value or increase at a greater success rate than Omega, I say buy the one you love! The problem is that I'm a watch geek and I find so much to love about each.

    Thoughts?

that's the watch that I'm looking for next: the CR Planet Ocean. Very sharp!

    Thank you.

I highly recommend it. It's thinner than the newer POs and has the authentic CR tie in as well. I say go for it!

Nice collection NC-MI6-00, the SPECTRE Seamaster is my personal favorite, though I can'e believe how much of a scratch magnet that watch is!

I don't wear mine daily, but still it got a fair share of scratches and dings, anyone else feeling the same for this watch?

    Nice "Red" Submariner.
Prices of this particular model have gone up a lot.
    Wear it in good health!

    Thank you Commandant.

Yes these Reds have skyrocketed as of late. It is actually the second time I've owned this very watch. Purchased it from a friend over a decade ago. Life!... so at some point I needed the money so I sold it back to the same friend I'd bought it from (he really regretted selling it). Nearly 10 years later, after trying my best to get him to sell it to me again for almost a year, I finally "made him an offer he couldn't refuse." But I definitely paid for it! I'm going to do my best to keep it this time!

I had a fantastic experience using that site. Was very nervous to do so the first time. Ended up getting the Spectre SM300 from a private seller in CA., and it could not have gone better. I asked all the questions beforehand, got pics of all paperwork, box, etc. Also, as soon as the package came in, I immediately went to Omega dealer to have everything checked out and verified. Couldn't be happier with that transaction. I still remain in contact with that seller. Very nice gentleman.

A month later I also used the site to get the CR PO. Ended up being a dealer (Bernard Watch Co.) out of Texas. Great experience there as well. I did do my duty diligence, and took it to Omega dealer as well..again, all checked out.

All in all, very positive experience for me.

    Good luck!

Nice! Oddly enough, I'm looking for the CR PO as well. There are some good prices on there for it and I was really wondering if everything was above board.

Thank you to everyone for the input.

A humble request: can someone please post a picture of the CR PO? Specifically, I'd like to see the band, as I'm seeing different bands out there and I'm not sure which one is the 'right' one. Thanks!

It's the Omega 2900.50.91 with rubber strap.

    Hope this helps!

    Happy hunting!

If you call the Omega service center in Secaucus, NJ you can provide them with the model # for this watch and they'll give you the exact model for the strap. Keep in mind the Casino Royale Planet Ocean is 45.5mm which is pretty big but I know they offer a 42mm version but I can't seem to locate the correct model #

ok, so if I have smallish wrists, I should actually look for the smaller version: 2901.50.91. Good to know.

Many thanks, everyone. This is great information!

What size is your wrist? My wrist size flucuates between 6.3 and 6.5 so of your wrist size is similar to mine then I'd say the 42mm would be more appropriate. Here is a picture of me wearing my Omega Seamaster GMT 2535.80 which is 41mm and it has 14.5mm case depth which is the same as the Planet Ocean.

I hope this helps you out!
