Yes, in gratitude for Holly's rat catching antics at their house this year, my parents have donated a large tree trunk from their woodpile. I have put a small electric fence round the base of the Christmas tree to protect it now.
I took the liberty of stringing up those crystal icicle lights above the front door and Windows, thought they would balance the front with the Christmas tree at the back. Plus we have a Blue Peter style advent crown mobile above the bar. The fact it's shaped like Drax's Space Station is pure coincidence.
Well, if no Turkey, we could always get a Nut Roast, the Vegetarian option? Or we could have a goouse?
