    My only defence is that AOS made me do it ! :v :))

    Although I think most of us would agree, not another Madonna type
    guest cameo. By all means sing the theme tune, Rihanna is a great
    Singer, but as AOS has pointed out her acting is ......... Not the best. :D

    Singer Rihanna is reportedly set to make a special appearance in the 24th ‘James Bond’ film.

    The 26-year-old ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker has been approached by the film’s producers and is really excited to appear on the big screen, reported the Daily Mirror.

    “Rihanna is a big fan of the Bond films and has always loved the idea of appearing in one. She didn’t even need to think about it, she knows she wants to do it. She’s really excited,” a source said. Filming for the new Bond film, which is codenamed ‘Bond 24’, is expected to start later this year with director Sam Mendes at the helm. The film is due for release in November 2015

    I agree with you about Rihanna's singing. I think with the right song she would be a terrific choice to sing the title song. I think her song "Diamonds" is a great example of what she might be able to do with a Bond theme. As for her actually making "a special appearance" in the film, it depends on the role. I wasn't particularly impressed with her work in Battleship, but if all she is required to do is look sultry and gorgeous, and then trade a few quips with Craig, maybe she could pull it off. (As long as she's not the main Bond Girl).

    While I agree with you re. "Diamonds", in my opinion she's one of the most hyped, overrated and annoying singers of our time. Her voice remains me always of a crybaby in the middle of the night - I have no idea what people enjoy from her singing!

    But "Diamonds" is so good that even Rihanna could not ruin it! :D
