Are you counting to when Brosnan was actually done with Bond, two years after DAD?

    yes

Then as of right now, Brosnan has about half a year on Craig.

Moore's record for number of Bond films will never be broken, but if Daniel Craig makes another film, and it is three years after Spectre, he will have matched Moore's years in the role.

Actually, there's the following thread, which was started several years ago:

Well, Mods, what do you say about closing one of these threads?

I actually like the DAD theme alot.
    Love GoldenEye's score.
    Love moonraker.
80's were the worst bond era. (Dalton's were the best)
DAD PTS is one of the Best in the series.
FYEO and TSWLM are very average and not great Bond films.

I like the FYEO and NSNA scores. I just don't like FYEO in the context of a Bond film. Since I don't consider NSNA a Bond film, the score doesn't bother me in that regard.

    I maintain that Lupe Lamour was perfectly played by Talisa Soto, and that she (great actress that she is) absolutely captured with precision the vapid beauty queen mentality the character demanded. I'd have given her a best supporting actress for that one. -{
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

I'll put in my 2 cents here...

    - The 80's was the best Bond decade
    - For Your Eyes Only is my favourite James Bond movie
    - I love A View To A Kill
    - Timothy Dalton is my favourite Bond and both his movies were terrific
    - With the exception of Goldeneye, the Brosnan era is the worst era of James Bond

If Pam hadn't gone for that ridiculous hair cut she'd still be perceived as a worthy Bond girl, but no. Too bad, and Lupe is not bad but neither is she that great. The best Bond girls of the 80's for me would be Melina Havelock and Kara Milovy.

[This is preliminary, since I'm re-watching all films with the informed eyes of an AJB member]

    - YOLT is one of my favorites. I mean, it has NINJAS! :))
    - No problem with NSNA , which, before knowing otherwise, I'd always considered a Bond film like any other
    - Moore era is the worst of them all
    - If at all, Octopussy is the best Roger Moore film
    - Despite my best efforts, no love for (the second half of) Skyfall

Admittedly I love Goldfinger, but Skyfall bothers me the more that I think about it; it's a technically impressive empty shell of a Bond film.

.Diamonds are Forever is one of my favourite Bond films. Top 10 hands down and potentially top 5. Based purely on watchability and personal enjoyment.

.While Lazenby is lacking in certain aspects of the film, I do not think OHMSS would be better with Connery starring in it.

.Daniel Craig is one of my least favourite Bonds and while I do think he has had a strong take on the character and the films are immensely enjoyable, I do sometimes yearn for a return to "classic" Bond styles.

Does anyone think Connery could pull off OHMSS? Connery would be great at some parts, whilst Dalton would excel at others (though he was too young at the time).

I have heard from multiple people that the film would be better with Connery in it but I guess it isn't a major popualr opinion then. Love me some Lazenby!!

The underwater scenes in Thunderball are magnificent and certainly don't slow up the film...

I'd prefer to watch one of Sir Roger's Bond films to one of Tim Dalton's, every time...

The best scenes in Skyfall are at the Lodge - the preparation by Bond, M and Kincade to meet Silva's men, followed by the climactic battle...
