While I can't speak for everyone, milking sheep wasn't something I did just to pass the time. I grew up on a small farm where there were sheep and oxes. Sometimes the sheep got triplets. That was a problem because the sheep only have two teats, so one gets left out. Usually you feed milk to the third lamb from a bottle (not many things are cuter than doing that ;% ). But once or twice we were out of dry milk to make milk from, so we had to milk the mother to fill the bottle. I can't really recomend doing that, since sheep have small teats and they try to run away.

True, there will be more real traveling than in SF. Craig's Bond movies are very euro-centric. Only whatever country Marocco is doubling for will most likely be non-European.

This is what I think is most likely: Rome is Rome (very un-Bond in the Craig era, but ..), Casablanca stands in for some other Middle Eastern city and Austria stands in for mainland Norway.
I think it's time for wild speculations. I'll go first: Perhaps Bond and the henchman fight in the plane. The plane crashes in Austria and the henchman dies. Lea Seydoux's character gets involved in the story, perhaps investigating the crash.
