Craig has a history of sporting some facial hair when not filming. The goatee could be shaved off in minutes for filming.

Probably wont happen but i'd love to see lea seydoux be revealed as a villian shes played this kind of role before in ghost protocol.

I don’t expect her to be an outright villain, but I do expect her role and motives to be mysterious for much of the film. I think the people assuming she and Bond are together at the start of the film are dead wrong.

It's going to have to be one hell of a mystery with Madeleine. Her father, Mr White, agreed to Bond protecting her and she made clear on the train, and, I think, at the Spectre meteor crater data centre, she has nothing to do with Spectre, so she can't be a villain. Looking at what we already know about the film, her role is really difficult to decipher.

There is a PTS car chase in Italy.
There is a post-credits scene set on a frozen lake with a young Madeleine look-a-like (scene 15).
    Bond starts off in Jamaica
    Bond has a yacht
Lashana Lynch visit Bond's Jamaican home
Felix Leiter and Magnussen's CIA agent are in scenes (scene 78) with Bond in Jamaica, or Cuba, either 45 minutes into the film or up to an hour.
In Jamaica/Cuba, a floatplane takes off at night as a nearby fishing trawler explodes.
    Moneypenny is not in Jamaica.
There is a car chase in Norway.
Bond has a relationship with Paloma.

    Then there is the synopsis:
    EoN wrote:
Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Reflecting on the fact that the frozen lake flashback scene is scene 15, that can only come almost immediately after the credits, so if Madeleine were to be killed in the PTS in Italy, I can't see how that can be a Rami Malek flashback. It just seems to early to introduce the villain.

Having Lashana Lynch seen in Bond's Jamaican house is also odd because it has always been a feature of Bond films that they don't go back to a location; except for the villain's lair a la TSWLM Atlantis sea city thing. Why would Bond go back to Jamaica after he is supposed to have left it with Leiter?

Is Lashana the head of station J? Does Lashana try to get James to come out of retirement and he refuses, and then Leiter turns up - which would explain their scene 78 clapperboard?

There's just so many characters and so many moving parts, I'm beginning to wonder if we're going to get a 3 hour Bond movie.

This is a direct quote from the ether place:

Several vans marked Pinewood and Movie Makers have entered the small village Sæbø in Sunnmøre.

    - It’s an extreme secrecy. Nobody from the production want to confirm this is for James Bond, tells TV2 anchor Arill Riise, who’s visiting his home village.

TV2 however have several independent sources confirming they've been hired to deliver services for the Bond shooting the upcoming days.

TV2 have got confirmation that the production has received permission to close off Sæbø centre Tuesday and Wednesday. TV2 have been informed that it's a big production team that's now coming to Sæbø.

    - The crew counts 120 people, a source tells.

The first link is an article that says a lot of equipment is being movied there fora major film production. Officially it can't be confirmed this is Bond25, but several local sources say it is and the leader of the TrueNorth location company is there. "I can't comment on what's going to happen here" he says to TV2.

The village will be closed down on Thirsday and Thursday. According to Arlid Riise, a local who works in TV2, says this is the greatest thing that's happened in Sæbø since Cliff Richard held a consert there in 1972. I agree :v

The second article says the road to Sæbø will be closed. That's bad news for me since there's only one road to sæbø :#
I could prabably drive to the other side of the fjprd and use a pair of binoculars, though.
The parking lot of the hotel is fullmof truckls marked Movie Makers and Pinewood, a ship will accomodeate a crew of about 120 people.

Good idea, but the mountains are challenging and I'm out of shape. I've wondered if the ferry from the Urke side ofthe fjprd is still running?
What worries me is the weather. The weather service predict rain, overcast and no sun on Tuesday on Wednesday.

A couple of newspapers say Daniel Craig has been pictured in Sæbø, but theby offer no photos. I think it's an amateurish mistake, they saw the photo illustration from the TV2 article that was clearly two photos side by side and thought it's one photo. There's also Craig's injury.
The sources say only the centre of Sæbø'll be closed off, I wonder where the guards'll be? The area around Sæbø is very flat and open, I don't think I can sneak past.

I really like the idea of Bond and Swann being separated. And there's lots of ways to explore their break-up: SPECTRE is still after Bond putting Madeleine at risk so they need to separate (the MI series approach); Bond can't handle the quiet life (shades of what we saw in the Skyfall Enjoying Death scenes); Madeleine just disappears but it turns out she's always been an agent for SPECTRE. Whatever route they choose, it would be a dynamic I don't think we've seen before. Has Bond ever had to deal with an ex?
I too would much rather see Swann reappear midfilm in a shocking new context, rather than have her killed off.
    Number24 wrote:
The only ex Bond has run into is Paris Carver in TND, at least as far as I can remember

aside from Paris Carver, I can think of three old flames that have appeared in Bond films, though one of them's technically a Cardsharp Jimmy Bond film:

There was Sylvia Trench in the first two films … she was meant to be a recurring character but was never seen again after Bond took that car-phone call from his office. We don't know why they broke up, but I bet if she knew he was being assigned to sleep with a sexy Russian defector she would rightfully conclude he's not a monogamous sort of boyfriend. She is the only one who actually appears in two films.

There was Pola Ivanova in A View to a Kill. We don't learn where they met before (an Unseen Mission), and they really don't seem to care about each other that much. I think the character was originally scripted to be Anya Amasova, which would have been very good: a return of the most classic Moore-era Bond-girl for his final film, and the whole business of switching the tapes would have been a reprise of the micro-film swiping scene. As it is, her scene is a pointless digression.

and in the Climax Mystery Theatre version of Casino Royale, Valerie Mathis has had an affair with Cardsharp Jimmy Bond in the past (an Unseen Mission), and le Chiffre exploits their history to get Bond to talk. While le Chiffre is listening in, she tells Bond she still loves him, but once they are alone she says the only part that was true is that le Chiffre will kill him.

EDIT: also, they don't tell us where Bond knows Goodnight from in the film, but they do already know each other. Those of us who have read the books know she was his secretary.

    bookwise:
in Pearson's Bond Biography, he meets Honeychile Rider again after her second husband has died and left her fabulously wealthy, and the two plan to marry, except he is called away on the morning of the wedding for one last mission.
and in the same book, Pearson tells us Bond has visited Japan several times in recent years to spend time with his son, and seems to have a healthy relationship with Kissy.

You, sir, know your Bond exes!

Funny, Sylvia Trench is one of my favorites but I never thought of her as Bond's serious girlfriend. I always had the feeling that she knew what was what. Basically meeting up with Bond to have a good time when he was in town. She showed up in his apartment after only knowing him for a couple of hours after all; it's not really like Bond seduced her. I'm not sure finding out Bond was out there sleeping with other women would bother her that much. She probably kept herself entertained when he was away.

In fact, I can imagine Bond coming back to London after GF, calling her up and finding out she got married while he was away! :D

According to the newspaper VG there will be filming in several places in Sæbø:

    The ferry landing pier

Between the Sagaford hotel and the shops, and the village square. I haven't been in Sæbø since last summer, so I don't remember where the buidings are in relation to each other. I'll visit tomorrow and possibly on Tuesday because VG claims the village will only be closed on Wednesday.

Thank you to Torgeirtrap in MI6community for the traslation of the article in Dagbladet:

Dagbladet have their own coverage of the Sæbø news.

Sagafjord hotel’s parking lot in Sæbø has this weekend been occupied by trucks marked Movie Makers and Pinewood, the local newspaper Møre writes.

About ten trucks arrived at the village Saturday. They’ve already been granted permission to close off the road Tuesday and Wednesday, and Dagbladet have been told that the shooting will likely start tomorrow. It’s then expected that additional crew will arrive, and that a ship will arrive through the Hjørungfjord, which will house film crew.

Dagbladet have talked to the mayor as well:
    - I too have expectations and questions regarding what will happen. We only know that there will be large vehicles with cars and trailers that will install themselves in the village. It’s been a bit of secrecy around this, but I can confirm it’s been granted permission to close off streets. There’s also talk about a helicopter that will fly around (the area). We really don’t know that much about what will happen, but now we’ll just crack on, the mayor says.

    - Will Daniel Craig himself be present?
    - I don’t know. It will be exciting to see. They won’t rig up for something like this for nothing. They will also bring in an own ship.

I can also thank him for his translation of the VG article mentioned in post #467:

Edit: VG have also written more:

VG have been given access to emails between Ørsta municipality and Truenorth Norway.

On Monday 20 May, Steve M. Røyset, a "location scout", wrote an e-mail to the municipality. Here it is stated that the company has received permission from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration to close the road into the center, county road 655, for shorter periods on May 29.

Furthermore, Røyset writes that the company will film in Sæbø center, "between the hotel and the stores". They will also film in the village square and around the ferry dock, as well as out on the fjord "and more". The company states that there will probably be some helicopter traffic in connection with the film shoot.

"It is requested to be able to use of the dock area and the street area for the scenes we are going to do there."

Concurrently, the production company has been granted permission to dock at the municipal dock between May 28 and 29.

    Well, I've been to Sæbø and ……. it's not Bond25 :# :))
I spoke to the local grocery store owner. Some of the film will be shot in his shop and outside it, so he had signed a contract of confidentiality. "It's not Bond," he said. It's something even bigger, made by Disney."
Czan it be Black Widow? Did I just miss Scarlett Johanson? :o

    Great leg work.

Perhaps it's only that Atlantic road for Norwegian filming in June...?

I doubt that. Where (geographically and in the plot) would the Atlantic Sea Road fit in if the only other scene shot in Norway is the frozen lake? A scene set in winter in a pine forrest and a scene set in the summer on a road by the coast are unlikely to be in the same sequence. They could be stitched together by using scenes shot in Scotland I guess, but I don't think so. The Rauma rumor isn't confirmed, but the ASR are close geographically and the seaon and landscape should fit together nicely.

The MI6 HQ story has a couple of mistakes. Rauma isn't in the northern third of Norway it's in the southern Third. Rauma is a municipality in the former county of Romsdal. Not that it's important, but ….

They mention the grocery store where I talked to the owner: " 'Joker Sæbø' has a function in the filming, but they can't say what their role is because of a confidentiality agreement."

More interesting for us they also write: "Scenes will be shot in Rauma too for the production." In other words they say both Sæbø and Rauma are locations for the Disney production. We still don't know if that's true, we haven't even seen official confirmation yet that there will be filming in Rauma.

That theory plays really well into Craig's Bond's quip to Vesper about her not being his type because she's single.
