This does feel a bit like Bourne.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

PAL speedup...the best thing about it as that long, boring films go by about 4% faster.

That Bond can pull himself away from the highly sensual Solange to pursue her husband really does emphasise his single minded devotion to the job!

Yes only using her to get to Dimitrios—a real Bondian thing, only the job on his mind, it’s great!

It’s a Miniature! The Skyfleet Airliner and its hanger. All because Airbus said No.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I like the 'real-time' involvement of M over the phone. It's a way of putting Dame Judi into the tension of an action scene (as also done in other movies with this M)... though not for long.

Arnold's Wagnerian-ish cue over the intro of the new Skyfleet plane... a bit Barry, a bit Hamlisch, a bit Barry Grey.

Love how Bond actually gives the plane a quirky once over when he stops the tanker. It’s a sharp contrast to his cold smile when “ping ping” does it’s thing!

The villain's reaction as he realises the bomb has been clipped to his belt... similar to the deep sea diver in FYEO, on whom Bond has clamped an explosive.

Love Craig's smile when the bad guy realises what's going on.... briefly.

Yes it's a great little moment. Big laugh in the cinema as I recall.

This is where Q would have done his stuff in a more traditional Bond movie.

Bond’s flared pants would fit right in in a 70’s Bond film :))
