    And as the panicked staff of Dr No try to make good their escape there interestingly seem to be as many female voices as male. Dr No was an equal opportunities employer...

    And so, at the end of the film, we are left with one memory- Sean Connery totally dominates this film, over many memorable turns by the supporting cast. It was his first indisputable lead and he carried it off with a panache that would serve him well through the next 4 or 5 decades.
