I've approved it, Dovy. This happens from time to time.

On my posting about Spectre I had one more question:

    12) Where did Madeline Swann go when Bond put her on the train at the end of the film, and what's Bond's life for the next five years in retirement in Jamaica after Italy?

Hi Dovy. Press the symbol in the top right corner of your post, and you will be presented with the choice of "Edit" or "Delete". If you choose to press "Edit", you can add your latest question to your post.

I posted a message on https://www.ajb007.co.uk/discussion/49754/sanders-sanders-snuff-or-chocolate#latest and it is waiting for approval too. Can someone help? Thanks.

    That's it done 🙂

Why are posts needing approval? Is this required for all posts? I posted in the Bond 26 section and didn't see my post. Then posted again (pretty much the same thing) and noticed it said approval was needed, before disappearing.

It’s because the forum software doesn’t let its members post several posts too quickly - this is to stop spammers spamming the whole forum…

You made a post and then went to edit it…you did so under the required time - so it hit the spam filter…that’s the reason, nothing sinister 🙂

Hi, can a moderator please restore my post that disappeared from the 'View to a Kill Sony Walkman' thread, cheers. Should have been post #24.

You don’t have a post in either the spam filter or the change log (if you edited a previous post)…🤷🏻‍♂️

It's the post I replied to (asking about nail polish remover) - Quentin talked about fine grit sandpaper and dymo tape: his post had definitely posted but has since disappeared.

I think I remember this happening to me before: posts I've replied to just randomly disappearing.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I had to edit the post and then it vanished. Tried to repost twice more later with no luck. Fortunately I type out my comments in a notepad .txt file and save it before copying over. I'll try again later.

I saw the original post, but it’s definitely not in the spam filter 🤷🏻‍♂️

The forum software has a time limit on posts - it’s to stop the whole forum being spammed at once - it’s just something we have to live with I’m afraid…but I’ve not really seen post completely disappear before 🤔 well, unless they have been removed on purpose…the only explanation I have is that your edited post was accidentally deleted from the Spam filter, though edited posts usually hit the change log first 🤔…if that happened, I apologise 🤗

I am currently having the same issue in the great eBay thread. I am trying to advertise a jacket from SPECTRE I have for sale, but my post is not appearing.

You had over 8 edits to the same post - that’s why it went into the spam filter…
