As I was growing up it was Horak's version that I was familiar with, only discovering McClusky in retrospect. You're right, it's always worth another look, I haven't read this version in ages.

The source material is SO good though…such a pity Peter Hunt only directed the one Bond movie…
I think we are in agreement here. OHMSS is, for me, the best novel, best film and best comic adaptation of all the Bonds. I only wish that GL had continued in the role and Peter Hunt had taken the series forward in a more serious, but still fun, direction.
