Bond Lifestyle Video Podcasts #38 is Up

The Bond ExperienceThe Bond Experience Newtown, PAPosts: 5,490Quartermasters
Good afternoon,

I am excited to announce that www.jamesbondlifestyle.com will be airing a regular video podcast on living the James Bond lifestyle. Different subjects will be discussed but the first one is up and ready for viewing. The host of the podcast lacks the personality to carry this off effectively BUT the subjects seem to be of interest....enjoy!

Nice one David! - Don't sell your presenting style short either! I can't deny Tom Ford's personal style, and the man knows how to design, and wear clothes.

I still think its daft for Bond to wear an exclusive, expensive designer wardrobe (the quality of the items in the podcast reinforced that thinking!) But there is no denying the quality of the clothing. Sadly its not something I could afford.

Fascinating viewing though, looking forward to the next one!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I loved it! Hmm, still a college student, so Tom Ford is WAY out of my price range, but great products.

I noticed Greene's Perla de las Dunas shirt in the beginning. You'll have to tell me where you found that one.

Loved it :x Can't wait for the next one. Job well done, David, very interesting to see the detail on the clothing. Out of my price range, I'm more of an 'on a budget' guy and I like seeing this kind of detail. Keep up the good work.

    I see again the face of the man I hold principally accountable for taking from me a victory that was rightfully mine in last year's James Bond Lifestyle Competition. I swore vengance then and will not rest until this scoundrel has paid a horrible price. Aside from this, really great Mantis, and keep 'em coming! -{

    Mantis,

I thought that this was great - very informative without being condersending or 'preachy'! It was great to see all of the close up detail on the Tom Ford items. And I thought it was brave to start the podcasts on a topic that has divided Bond Fans.... so WELL DONE!

DZ, is the correct notch length for the Alfani shirt 1 in. or .5 in.
  • The Bond ExperienceThe Bond Experience Newtown, PAPosts: 5,490Quartermasters

    Thanks David!

I appreciate being able to see some of the genuine articles In "real time" so to speak. I agree with what you said about fit and comfort. I am constantly amazed at how many guys I see throughout the course of a day with ill-fitting clothes - particularly suits that aren't tailored! :s

You don't need to spend a fortune on clothes to looks good. If you buy quality items that fit properly anyone can look great.

It was also great to see the genuine outfit morph (a la "I Dream of Jeannie") into the more practical one! Those who don't have our eyes for detail would never be able to tell the difference!

If one plans on really wearing these items, I for one would not wear a $4K Tom Ford Harrington in ANY situation where it might be burned, sliced, and/or blown up! ;)

I feel your friend's pain over the "cardigan snag." I would be in therapy too! If I had one of those I would wear it, but only under certain circumstances. No way would I wear that out late at night to a crowded bar!

All the more reason to invest in more practical alternatives. Eliminating the worry of something happening to your nicest clothes, and being able to just live in the moment helps one's "inner 007" shine through!

After all, isn't his sense of practical style, proper fit and above all confidence in his appearance what the ladies really like? ;)

    Best regards,

    Chris

P.S. Was that a real martini or a stunt double? {[]
