Crown is too small compared to the case. Bezel is too fat! No lume in 369. the entire watch screams Bling Breitling....

Rolex have ruined their watches. It's a sad day when someone like me has to admit that Omegas are far more aesthetically pleasing than the post 2008 Rolex models.

I disagree about the Explorer proportions. As a compromise for a dress and sports watch, it fits the bill for me...

..and then you want to buy a 2013 Rolex??.

    Yeah, that makes sense 8-)

As for compromises between dress watch and sports watch - why don't you get a two-tone watch then :v ?

Compromises din't work in watches - particularly in toolwatches :D

What can I say. I've worn Rolex for over 25 years, mostly Submariner. I want a less sporty Rolex for dressier occasions than the new Sub can cope with. There is no Omega equivalent except the AT, and the clasp on the AT is poorly designed and uncomfortable.

I think asking you for advice might be a great insight into my mental acuity right now. Obviously less than 8 hours sleep at night has serious side effects.

The old sub yes. But not this new piece of 'Gangsta' bling. Innit.

Cartier have never made real watches. They are even too embarrassed to state which movement they use when asked.

The watches might have. It was the thing they were on that let them down.

Putting Bondtots in a tux isn't the 'done thing' either. Look at how all those folks are in uproar over those old Brooke Bond TV ads.
