I didn't have any problem following the story of QOS (I'm not that feeble-minded - yet!) I liked QOS more than RogueAgent007 and several others, but I did have a problem with some of the editing and I don't want to see that repeated in Bond 24.
And I liked QOS as much as Sir Miles, but that frantic look is (or should be) a one-off IMO.

I just want some crazy stuff in the next one. The Komoto lizard thing was a good touch in SF, but can we get a proper hidden billion-pound underground lair to annihilate next time? Or a henchman with a bionic arm? Or even a flippin' jet pack?
Making the seemingly impossible seem REAL is a cinematic Bond staple... can we throw away the staple-remover mentality now?

Chrisisal you nail it, that's exactly what I want too. If you could marry up Craig's tough, serious Bond with some crazy-ass volcano/underground/undersea lair, it would be magnificent :))

The problem is that nowadays the idea of a billionaire criminal genius with a worldwide network of terrorists, spies, and criminals and residing in an underground lair (say in the mountains of Afghanistan) isn't that far fetched.

And, no, Thunderpussy, I'm not referring to Rupert Murdoch.

A plot in which M, Q, Tanner and Moneypenny are not major characters.
They're supposed to be very minor characters that represent the safe haven of a desk job compared with the excitement and danger of Bond's job.

One thing that I didn't like about the Moore era was that Moneypenny had nothing to do, she was always just there to tick a mental box. I love it how they are connected to the plot in the last one.

What i would like to see:

no cgi (like the shameful motor chase in sky fall).

An older villain with life experience. A villain like in the oldies. Controlling the world from his lair. Ben Kingsley for instance.

Bond smoking seems good to me. Never gonna happen, but i like the casino in smoke feeling. Maybe DC can smoke a cigar.

What I like from the books is,YOLT, the scene in which Bond must go through de garden of different plants, it written very suspenseful. You can also make this very suspenseful in a movie, maybe the beginning of a PTS.

In the novel Doctor No, bond is fighting a giant squid, i would like to see this. DC with a spear up against a giant squid, wow would be cool. Maybe it's to pirates of the Caribbean now, but I would love it. (yeah I know CGI…)

I would like to see Bond drive in the silver beast (saab 900), not as a main car, but just as a wink maybe?

I would like to see a different moneypenny. Rosamund pike would be lovely..

and it's time we see some half naked women. Tasteful and useful of course.

My opinion - changing Moneypenny would be a bad idea. Bond fighting a giant squid - a worse idea. Much worse!!!

Not very fond of Naomi Harris? I personally liked her as the new Moneypenny and it's cool that they actually set up a bit of background for her in Skyfall. Rosamund Pike does indeed seem to fit the role, but of course she has already been a Bond girl before.

Perhaps we could compromise and Bond could eat calamari.

Re Moneypenny, I think Naomi Harris is fantastic, no way should she be changed.

I want a relatively short pre-title sequence, no more than five minutes in length.

I want the composer of the score to also be involved with the title song. We're all sick and tired of Bond title songs that are unrelated to the score.

No digital cinematography in Bond movies until Kodak stops producing film stock.

    No obvious CGI.

I want a plot that doesn't fall apart within a few seconds of thinking about it.

I want to see Bond going to Australia, New Zealand or Canada for his next assignment, he's never been to these places before. I actualy feel like watching a DC version of Octopussy. Plenty of girls, a few good laughs, some great action set pieces and a whole adventure feel to the film. I also wanna see Bond in bed with a woman at the end of the film, as DC hasn't had that privilege yet

Hear hear! The gap between Bonds is often ridiculous.
