    Yes. El Pais is a very renowned Spanish newspaper, probably the most respected newspaper in the country. If her publisist really denounces the rumour in El Pais, it's dead.

    I misunderstod your question. El Pais isn't a Bond site, but a high quality newspaper. Probably the most respected newspaper in Spain. This is not a gossip rag! If this newspaper says Cruz isn't doing Bond, she isn't doing Bond. That's why it would be nice of a spanish speaker could verify the story.

    Would The Times or Newsweek post a story that a named publisher of an Oscar-winning actress has denied being cast in Bond 24 without checking the story? Neither would El Pais. Being careful in a time full of wild rumours is important, but I think we can take this seriously if it really is written in the newspaper.

    I think Norway doesn't have the tradition Sweden has for exporting beautiful actresses. We still look a bit down on getting success partly based on looks. But we have some lookers.
