Hi all! I'm new here but I have been checking out this wonderful site since the day Daniel was picked as the 6th James Bond for Casino Royale. Anyway, I finally decided to registered and become part of y'all after 10 years :)
I noticed the new Omega Seamaster 300 coaxial in the new TV Spot. Here is the picture.

What's interesting is I finally put a nato strap on my SM300 mc just yesterday and this new extended trailer is released.

So the confirmed watches for Spectre are the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Master Co-Axial 41.5mm blue dial with stainless steel bracelet and the Seamaster Professional 300 41mm with the NATO Strap.

We don't know that yet. Nothing has been proven or confirmed in regards to this watch model.

Very true. I guess also its possible Omega might release the Seamaster 300 Master under a different ref on NATO a bit like the 2500 PO which came in numerous bracelets and straps (leather and rubber)

Talking of which I came across this pic on another forum, looks pretty nifty on a black NATO (dare I say cooler)

I think it will indeed be this 41mm model judging by the pics but nothing confirmed by Omega

I believe the titanium is available in blue only? (though it can look like black from some of the pics I've seen)

I guess like the Skyfall PO (which I believe was never available to the public) there is always a possibility it could be titanium / black made especially for the film. I think it will be SS / black and available to the masses and marketed as the SPECTRE watch instead of the AT which I'm guessing won't be on his wrist for much of the film

Do we really need confirmation from Omega though? I can see that Bond will be wearing 2 watches based on the pics we've seen. The blue aqua terra mc and the ss SM300 mc.

It could also be a Gauss with blue dial given that they've made a Bond Limited Edition version of the watch.

But the blue aqua terra mc does have gauss.

I think I may have found an interesting budget alternative to the Omega 300 if anyone is interested

So those who own the SM300 with the nato strap what size strap did you get?
  • welshboy78welshboy78 Posts: 10,294MI6 Agent
Looks like it needs the 21mm NATO - see below past discussion

I'll measure my SM300 when I get home but I am 99.9% positive it has the 21-22mm version on it. I originally bought the strap to go on my PO and the lady who served me ensured me it would fit both.

That would be really helpful ! The Omega boutique (Ash) on Regent St convinced me otherwise this morning... Yes I need the 21-22 for the PO but this would be too big on the new SM300... Not going to buy a strap that I cant use just in case so put off ordering it. Annoying as had a friend all lined up to pick up and post to me. Wanting to do the same as you and fit it to my CR PO (45mm) until I knew what was happening re Omega and SP NATO SM300. If nothing official then would buy the SM300 and add the strap and put my CR PO back to standard.

It is the same strap mate. My PO is a 45mm on Rubber and the strap is 21mm. The Nato I have is 21.5 (ish) and fits the new SM300 it is on perfect.

Sorry, I had no idea about this policy or that anyone was paid through that link.

The watch is made by the brand "Nixon" and the model is called "The Rover."

is the 21mm the same strap as the 22mm or are they both different straps?

My understanding is there are 2 straps, a 19-20mm and a 21-22mm. I have a 42mm PO and Omega fitted a 19-20mm NATO on mine. The sizing is based on the lug size as far as I am aware, so 20mm lugs - 19-20mm NATO, 22mm lugs - 21-22mm NATO.

You have the correct strap. The SE300 Master Co-axial has 21mm lugs and the NATO strap fits snugly with a slight concave inward curve through the springbar.

I'm typing this from the back office of an OMEGA Boutique so I should know!

We don't know that yet. Nothing has been proven or confirmed in regards to this watch model.

Correct. OMEGA has yet to officially announce the timepieces used in the movie. However, the spy photos and the PR pics released to the media aren't shy of showing off the pieces used in the movie.

It is the current model Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Co-axial 42mm in blue dial for the PTS and the Seamaster 300 Master Co-axial on the black and grey NATO strap (21-22mm).

At this stage (and I stress - at this stage) there are no new models planned for release in Oct/Nov so it looks like if you buy the current SE300 on the steel bracelet and an OMEGA NATO strap (or the Aqua Terra) you will have an exact screen accurate prop.

The main reason there has been no official announcements is most likely due to OMEGA wanting to solely promote the limited edition Bond SPECTRE Aqua Terra up until the release of the movie.

Are we sure that the Aqua Terra is blue? Could it just be the black one with the yellow >15,000 markings? Perhaps it looks blue because of reflection/TF Suit? Just wondering
