Christmas Eve is over in most of the civilized world. :v I hope you've enjoyed it and the loot is bountyful.
BTW: "Spy - counterspy" by Dusko Popo is great! I've never before read a book that isn't James Bond but still feels so Bondian. I'm just reading about when Ian Fleming tried to tail Popov in Lisbon, including at the Casino. :007)

No Bond related presents but my daughters did buy me a navy cardigan which ( I'm
guessing by accident ) looks very similar to the one worn by DC in QOS. Although
with my girth, ..... on me it looks like two Daniel Craigs in it :#

Having a very lazy day today watching a Michael Cain double bill on BBC2 ... just done The Ipcress Files, now onto The Eagle Has Landed.

It's actually nice to watch a couple of movies that aren't all green screen and special effects. Shame that Donald Sutherland was never chosen as a Bond villain. Still, Donald Pleasance did a marvellous job.

Although " The Donald" did play a few villains in " The Saint "

An hour ago I was sitting in front of the stove in my suit, eating Christmas cookies and reading my new copy of "Some kind of hero". Life wasn't bad :007)

A spy thriller starring Michael Caine and Donald Pleasence-

Not in the league of either of the two movies Lady Rose mentions, but maybe worth a watch. It also stars John Vernon, another "Bond villain who got away".

Anyone wanting a Spy movie watch in the UK. Argos
Is having a sale. The Casio DW 290 is now only £25,
It's still around £60 on Ebay and Amazon. The Movie
Connection ? .... it was worn by Tom Cruise in Mission
    Impossible ;)

I'm on the left, as my band bring in the new year near Loch Lomond. It was a great night!

(The wigs were being passed around the audience and at one point we ended up wearing them)

Today I saw something strange. The neighbour has a swimming pool in the garden, or more accurately a pool with river water in it where he can practice rolling his kayak and the kids can play. Today I noticed he was standing next to the pool looking a bit lost while his mother, around 75 years old, wading in the pool with her legs bare while she was raking the pool. Yes, with a rake. It turned out my friend somehow had managed to drop his glases in the pool and his mother was searching for it and later actually found it. I know the woman has spoken in tongues in the past, but I think this was stranger.
I need something to fortify myself - can I have a large glass of the usual, please.

Yes, after a while she had to take a dip in the hot tub her son had also buildt in the garden. He has also installed a zip line and a tent he strapps up between trees so it hovers in mid air in the garden. My friend likes to have a project each summer.

Living a bit of the Bond lifestyle ( from the novels anyway )
Sitting in an airport departure lounge, people watching.
Only instead of a vodka martini, I'm drinking a coke ;)
..... just waiting for a sexy lady in distress to sit opposite
    Me.
