Looks like this site auto adds a referrer and it's confusing the link.

Just go to dobel .co.uk, Bond link is on thier front page.
I wouldn't get your hopes up though, 100% man-made fiber suits that look very little like anything Bond wears, they are cheap though.

Hi, having re looked at the pics, I agree not the same, close but as you say not exact.

Will have a chat with them when I go in.

    Cheers

    Nick

As I say pretty sure it's the one, although magazine article says blue but as we know they have got other things wrong.

    Cheers

Does anyone have a link to purchase the Esquire jacket online?
    Thanks!
    Sean

Have a look at this image of DC wearing the same top at JFK airport from the Esquire shoot...

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3204791/Daniel-Craig-displays-muscular-physique-tight-T-shirt-arrives-JFK-airport.html

The JV Zip-Through Knit Jacket is close - and very nice (although a bit expensive for a cotton top!) - but not quite the right jacket as it has a second zip on the edge of the 'storm flap', which doesn't appear on the Esquire / Airport top. The collar / top of the zip design is also different.

That said the zip pull in the JFK airport pic looks like its a JV zipper, so perhaps the one DC is wearing is from a previous season?

Nick - when you go into the London store ask for a guy called Paul who was super helpful when I visited and ask if there was a similar one of these from a previous season. That Zip-Through cotton jacket matches a current FW2015 season suede JV jacket - the Double Zip Racer Jacket - which makes me wonder if that Esquire / Airport jacket wasn't JV's cotton take on the SPECTRE Suede Racer Jacket when is was originally offered in an earlier season by JV (SS2015 ??). If that were the case, that might also account for the confusing info printed in Esquire.

OK OK, sorry folks. On closer inspection maybe not as exciting as at first I thought.
I will be buying a new dinner jacket - white of course for those Christmas functions though.
Any ideas on a reasonably priced alternative?

Just wanted to warn people that the colour of the Snowdon sunglasses is still under debate. I have seen an email from someone at Tom Ford stating it is the Havana 52N colour, will double check and try to find out more.

If it is the havana color vs the black with havana backing then TF needs to get their act together as far as information delivery and confirmation...both NYC and LA have said black....

I tried on both at Nordstrom. The Havana looks too yellow to be the glasses in the pictures. We will see, I guess.

Who in Tom Ford? They are clearly wrong. It's the shiny black model confirmed. Even the reps in London here said it. Looks pretty obvious from every one of the pictures we have seen.

Maybe it's the same rep who told us that it was a brand new model coming lol :))

This was coming from Tom Ford Dallas:

"Please see below for exact style and color for the Tom Ford sunglasses featured in the upcoming James Bond movie Spectre.

The exact style featured is Snowdon TF237 color 52N

Please let me know if you have any questions."

But I agree, it almost has to be the black version.

I wonder if there will be a second pair of sunglasses in the movie - perhaps in Morocco.

Mango has a budget alternative to the black JV zip-through that DC was photographed wearing:

That's not a bad looking shoe, either. I just bought some midnight blue suede chukkas, though 8-)

    Can't have enough shoes, though.

The cream tuxedo is pretty spot on. Man-made fibers but the price is acceptable.

Didn't mean to be so negative, they do also have a pin collar shirt, and not sure eaywhere else does those.
Replica machine gun and you could put together smart looking Bond outfit for not too much :)

Picked up the Mulberry day gloves while I was in Edinburgh, they're beautifully made and warm.

Check out these Steve McQueen chukkas that Barbour have just released! Obviously the Sanders look is "in" this autumn...

Not a traditional chukka (too many eyelets). Rubber outsole rather than crepe I see. Honestly it looks like a cross between the Playboy Chukka and the Jack Purcell OTR from Casino Royale. Still, interesting to see a "Steve McQueen" style. Wonder if Barbour has permission from the McQueen estate to use his name.

My thoughts exactly... Like so many others, I missed out on the OTR shoes... Tempted to grab these as an alternative with a more classy link to the Bond wardrobe..
