This is beyond sketch, it is actually criminal. Broccoli you need to pay for your item or return it.

Who the hell takes something without payment then tries to sell it when it isn't actually yours. Oh that's right, Thieves!

    http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Receiving+Stolen+Property

It is actually illegal for any member to purchase this item until it is paid for in the US.

    Best,
    Stefan

Broccoli, we tend to give people the benefit of the doubt even when they disrupt topics and projects as you have on several occasions. But patience goes only so far and this community happens to care about conduct and values. You have set the wheels in motion.....

Broccoli, having looked back at this as a relative outsider (i don't really comment in such discussions), and trying to be objective, all i can do is support the sentiments of all the other members.

You stories just don't add up, and that goes all the way back to the way you caused problems with the TF Harrington, with card issues, name issues and any thing else you could throw in to derail that project - i can only imagine you are one of those people we all work with who 'didn't receive that email - oh wait, it must have gone into my junk box'

    a. We all know you went into a 'blind bid' for the item, and you were prepared to pay "stupid money' for it - your call. (original thread post 164)
    b. You say the seller refunded your $600 in good faith, and is asking for it back - really?
    c. You say you knew it was fraying before you advertised it for sale, but then suggest you only noticed it when Mantis pointed it out (post 49 v post 80)
    d. You say you should pay 'north of $1000 for a damaged sweater' when JTM points out you have just offered it for $1200! (post 45)
    e. you say 'months later it arrived (post 47 & 57), Myself says he has tracking details to suggest it took around 18 days (post 62)
    f. You say its a reluctant sale (post 4), but you are happy to knock the price down for a 'quick sale' (post 23)

Regardless of which crime is being committed here, you are being dishonest in every sense of the word. The mere fact you say you had $600 refunded for what seems to be your complaint of 'non delivery' (post 57), when the garment did arrive, the RIGHT thing to do was pay back that $600.

Its all very confusing, as ASP9mm points out, have you just paid out $400 for it ($1000 'deposit' - $600 refund)?, if so, by advertising it for $400 as you have in the end, doesn't make you a loss at all? BUT you have ripped of Myself, who sold it in good faith to you, for a price YOU proposed.

I think you were close to pi55ing on your chips with the whole TF Harrington Fiasco, but this will no doubt (and hopefully) see you barred from AJB, but the sad thing is, Myself is the real loser here (financially that is ;) )

I am concerned that your post 35 on thread 'Re: watch porn wednesday' showing the fake Omega Seamster where you are asking for some validation on its genuine appearance is your next scam?

Its like some Ponzi scam, and sounds as pathetic as one of Donald Trumps lies, with all the contradictions and story changing - whatever, you need to excuse yourself i think - as M said,

"If an agent did something that embarrassing he would have the good sense to defect"

Wow :s Just dumbfounded and downright disgusted with this sweater saga. Profiteering, contradiction, dishonesty, fraud and an egregious abuse of the trusting nature of this great community...that hole of yours is just getting deeper and deeper Broccoli. At the start of this thread I was really trying to give you the benefit of the doubt but your unacceptable conduct, and apparent lack of care towards the serious issues that members have brought up in regards to your behaviour and the transaction with Myself is inexcusable.

There are for sure a few members here who are clearly 100% not even remotely Bond fans and are here to make easy money. There was a post the other day and I knew / was waiting for the all too predictable follow up post! Was I right?????? Yup!!! It was even posted "for sale" quicker then I had originally anticipated.

I joked with a few ajb friends privately and literally said "watch this happen, its so predictable" and magically the item was posted for sale despite the seller "desperate" to obtain the said item days earlier!

I dont begrudge someone making money on a valuable / rare item but its clear some members are here for business only

I think we all know who the Sharks are around this place! Its not rocket science :D

In case anyone is wondering, I'm awaiting a response to a certain PM before proceeding. No sense in going off half-cocked.

I'm convinced that Broccoli does not have the best interest of the members of this forum in mind. I have had my concerns about him since he arrived on the scene and I'm glad that things are being sorted out. Sorry to hear about what happened to you Myself. Hopefully Broccoli will have a change of heart and pay you the money you deserve. 8-) people make mistakes, and if we can offer a chance for Broccoli to learn from his, that would be the best result in my opinion. But, if he is not willing to agree to the forum's ethics codes, then I'm sure the mods will show you the door and all the best on your future endeavors Broccoli, and I hope you come around at some point in your life.

We were actually wondering where miley was? I thought he was sheriff round these parts ( though I'm aware mods have supreme power everywhere) :007)

    He's on hols.

To be honest, Brocolli has had many chances. Since the day he first posted he's been screwing people around with items offered for sale.

Indeed, be interesting to see any response he has though his behaviour is indefensible !

    yes, he's remarkably silent.
He usually doesn't let a chance pass to "contribute".

I have satisfied myself that Broccoli is clearly guilty of breaking forum rules. AJB is a fraternity whose strength lies in the absolute integrity of its members. I have decided on the appropriate action.

My thanks to all the knowledgeable and helpful members who were involved. And Higgins, too.

    I'm disappointed that the situation has had to come down to this and I very much hope that Myself still either gets the money he is owed or gets the sweater back! Anyway, i'm glad I was able to do my bit to help out here. It's situations like this that remind me how proud I am at the integrity and strong moral principles of members on this site, no hesitation to look out for one another -{
