Thanks, Red Snow. I enjoyed reading that.😃
An especially interesting bit about Safin: "He's controlling all the megalomaniacs. After all he created them."
This is from a couple of months back but don't remember anyone sharing it here so just incase anyone missed it, one of the latest top trump cards features some info on bonds new Q Branch issued watch
A 30-second 'No Time To Die' spot has been rated by the FSK in Germany.
Is it visible somewhere?
Some interesting news
Seems pretty much confirmed now Nomi has inherited 007 status after Bond's retirement
I guess editing out all those 2019 model Nokia's really hit the runtime! 🤣
A 30-second 'No Time To Die' Nomi and Paloma spot has been rated by Consumer Protection BC in Canada.
The second part of production sound mixer Simon Hayes NTTD set report.
** Contains spoilers.
I'm wondering if we've 'seen' the first evidence of re-shoots for NTTD.
It's no spoiler to point out that in the existing main trailer we see a bloodied, weary Bond say to Madeleine: "The past isn't dead." He's an exhausted Bond but not angry, we see that later in the Matera car chase.
But the reports of the nine minutes of PTS footage shown at CinemaCon today suggest that this scene may have been re-shot.
I'd add more but I can't remember how to do the
start and
end commands, help please. ;-)
What do you guys think? Any chance they‘ll release this clip to the general public before the movie hits the screens?
Interesting the clip is 9 minutes and not the full Pre-Title Sequence.
A missing line of dialogue isn't evidence of a reshoot, just a possible simple edit or alternate take.
It's said to be a very long PTS, so only showing part of it makes sense. No reason to show the first 15-20 minutes of the movie.
It could be, but for a single scene it's an odd change of tone from weary, exhausted to face slapping anger. Surely Bond must know that visiting a past lover's grave was not a good idea.
I think they should show it in front of select films, as they have done before with other movies where you get to see the first five minutes or more as a trailer. After the impact the 9mins had at CinemaCon, if you wanted to drive word of mouth just have that 9mins shown in front of Shang-chi and Cry Macho, for example.
Final US trailer. One word of warning: it's STUNNING!
That link was down when I checked but there are plenty of copies already circulating around YouTube.
The final international trailor and the final U.S. trailor are now out and both are very good.
I didn't expect (or possibly even want?) that much new footage this late in the game, but I have to admit I enjoyed both trailers a lot. There were even a couple of scenes from the Atlantic Road. Imagine it's less than a month to the premiere!
Not a spoiler but this seemed like the best thread to put it.
I think the success of SHANG-CHI: LEGEND OF THE 10 RINGS is probably a relief to EON. The film was a theatrical only release without a streaming option (unlike BLACK WIDOW) and ended up being a massive hit at the box office, blowing away expectations. Whereas before I thought that NTTD would get punted again, I now think that its release date is even more firmed up than ever. If anything, I could see EON trying to move the release up on the schedule.
New UK Box office opening trailer has more new dialogue and scenes in it.
Wow is this true? So if youre not seeing the film at an imax theatre there will be less footage? (Movie will be shorter)
If so, im curious what i will miss from the film going to a regular theatre?
At least i hope the footage will be released on the extra material when the bluray arrives?
Or will the imax footage still be on all cinemas but will miss the imax quality?
Anyone have a theory? 🤗
From what I can understand, the 'extended' footage only refers to the extended ratio of an Imax screen, not the movie itself.
So think we're gonna see the same exact movie
Did some of you guys have the opportunity to listen to the full soundtrack ? If so, what are your feelings about it ?
From what I've heard from some lucky people who listened to it, the track "Cuba chase" is quite good and memorable.
Now we only have to see him in the actual uniform in NTTD
Alright Mattia, the challenge is on: who made that uniform! 😁
I suppose those kind tailor of the Royal Navy. Knowing the type is probably bespoke😂
I'm really disappointed he's not wearing a woolly pully.
@The Domino Effect FYEO, it's called PCS Royal Navy combat uniform. But you'll certainly know these things
I wonder if Gieves and Hawkes do bespoke RNPCS!
