    The laser beam scene- both screenwriters (Maibaum & Dehn) worked hard over this, and obviously succeeded since it's such a classic result.
    Fleming's original dialogue had to go

    Bond: Then you can go and f*** yourself
    Goldfinger: Even I am not capable of that, Mr Bond

    So

    Bond: Do you expect me to talk?
    Goldfinger: No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die!
