    Gottfried John is brilliant.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

Glad, that like with Moore, they insisted that he‘s cutting his hair significantly

He definitely has that great 80s hair going here, doesn't he?

Yes but as Remington Steele, hair was much longer, like Moore at the Pursuaders

When the plane reappears, we SHOULD hear a proper version of the Bond Theme in all its glory

    That would’ve been perfect!

I know that a complex for research into chemical warfare is totally pernicious but all those Russian servicemen violently despatched by Bond... there's a high uniformed Russian body count in this movie.

Title song- good pastiche of Barry. You too can write a Bond song.

At least Bono and The Edge and Tina Turner are securely in the vein of a traditional Bond sound. Hats off to Daniel Kleinman for 'going Binder' and at the same time well beyond Binder...

Music- “Electronic Noise #2”. Here, Serra has selected Rhythm 2 on his Casio before persuading his pet rat to run up the keyboard a few times then copied and pasted as necessary. Might be on the OST but I’m not subjecting myself to finding out.

Love the extended title song sequences on Bond films, it gives me time to go make breakfast on these rewatches :D

Unfortunately you can see clearly that the DB5 is nowhere close to the 355 in terms of performance and handling

The title sequence is excelent. You have to go far back for a Binder sequence that can compete with this one.

The actress playing Caroline, Serena Gordon, annoyingly over plays her comical reactions. Famke, on the other hand, looks great here... like an image from a 50s paperback painted cover of a Fleming novel.
