Pike’s presence will help me deal with those bad scenes.

The reference to Donald Campbell... rather Flemingesque in its allusiveness to a real life adventurer
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

"I'd rather not go at all."

    Don't worry, James- you won't.

The dream-inducer mask... looks again like something out of Binder's title sequence for AVTAK

Music- “Icarus” On the OST. Arnold uses a choir, like Barry did in “Flight Into Space” in MR. I vaguely recall that they’re singing “What a big umbrella”, but backwards- don’t quote me, I’m going from memory.

Stephens would have made for a great Bond, actually. He's got charisma up the wazoo. Loved him on BLACK SAILS.

    He does, on radio.

Jinx only really gets interesting for me when Frost engages her in bitchy rivalry.

Jinx looks great, she just gets the worst lines.

Vlad and Mr Kil could have been more memorable characters.

While I don’t mind some more of this Pike, it does bother me a little that she’s literally half of Brosnan’s age.

Hands directly on freezing metal. I bet Bond used to lick metal during the winter in his school days.

Rosamund Pike adds A LOT of value to this film. She would have made a great 'straight' Gala Brand, but I'm glad she got to play the villainess.

Egads, you're right. I hadn't noticed that before but the architecture is definitely in a similar vein.

Oh, and nice fake looking snow. I hate that. Snow moves and flows in very specific ways, and using white sand/salt/soap flakes never looks realistic.

    I agree

Not as bothersome as Moore and Tanya Roberts, though.
