Alec McCowen is good as Algernon. He was brilliant in Hitchcock's "Frenzy"

"Wonderful, its all over the Kremlin!" :D

No, he's Robert Reitty (see above post 125)

No no, the shorter one with glasses and grey hair.
Reitty was one of the best voice artistr and dubbing artists of his generation.

Ah, will have a look next time. (Whenever that is!!)

The Q scene is wise in attempting something very different to Desmond Llewelyn. The screenplay is sharp, too.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

    Mr Bean! Or, Johnny English?

I like the cream suit and light blue shirt. Valerie Leon's role seems rather superfluous. Perhaps they should just have used the Nicole character from later.

Completely agree. The Laser watch reappears in James on Junior of all things! My Dad used to use those Vicks "torpedoes" all the time.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Connery's performance style in the scene with Rowan Atkinson... very much as in DAF. Light ironic reactions to comic or oddball characters.

Ah Ms Leon. She is still amazing.

Oh dear Smallfacett is a poor shadow to Mr Atkinson's normal work.
    (Except Bean, hate that character.)

Connery's famed lisp is very evident in this film... much more so than in his earlier Bond films.

Bond has just been hanging out with Fatima on the company's time. Does he even suspect her of relevant involvement in the plot till he realises she's attached the shark magnet to him?
