There's a joke in Shakespeare's Bond https://www.ajb007.co.uk/post/920302/#p920302 about Grace Jones buying Barbara Carrera's outfits to wear in AVTAK. Not far off the truth!

The "your place or mine?" gag worked well on first viewing.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

    Gorgeous woman!
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Is Barbera Carrerra a trained dancer? She moves as though she is. Esp in the heels she wears. I love how she instinctively jumps when she detonates those "bomb lites" of hers!

Bonds under the bed shoes - My Grandad had those.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

The piano cue, 'Bond Returns Home' is actually quite catchy... in an otherwise disastrous score.

She was a pretty successful model - she should know how to walk

Kim Basinger looks quite tired around the eyes, despite heavy make-up.

Bernie Casey is wonderful as Leiter. Right up there wiht the Late David Hedison. The rapport between him and Sir Sean feels real.
Thats a big telescope barrel for staring at the bay!

Posing as a masseur... shades of the Klaus Hergersheimer ruse?

I love the sharpness of Domino's "Excuse me?"

That makes sense to Me. Esp after Largos "Cut Your Throat" line. This is a Domino who knows her life is not a safe, let alone happy one.

The guy who looks like Dalton playing a machine- too short but otherwise a great resemblance

Nice to see a Heavy who is quite elegant in his appearance too.
Neat and tidy - and terrified!

Connery's famed lisp is very evident in this film... much more so than in his earlier Bond films.

I shushpect, er, I suspect dentures may be the reason.

Its annoying, the leading ladies are elegant, beautiful and lithe - yet they are given outfits that look like they are made of pvc ans plastic bags in bits! Especially Fatima. Largo has no idea what formal dressing is about - a twist on Goldfinger's lame Smoking jacket.

Machines that go pew pew pew - the various vintage Arcade games.
